Abstract
This research paper aimed to determine the relationship between the study habits in remote education and the level of learning achievement in a population of 103 second grade students at the Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo High School in the district of Zaña - Chiclayo. This is descriptive correlational research with a non-experimental design of a cross-sectional type. The school records of the second-grade students in 2021 was considered as the data used as well as a survey with questions involving the six dimensions on study habits in virtuality, such as: attitude towards study, study room, study plan, assessment, study techniques and web tools. This survey was applied to all the second-grade students at this school. In conclusion, after analyzing the data, the statistical tests showed that there is not a relationship between the study habits in remote education and the level of learning achievement. Due to the pandemic, the students’ study habits changed during the remote education because they did not spend much time to study. (García L., 2009) Also, the lack of technological resources decreased the students’ interest in their virtual lessons. (Botina, 2021)
