dc.descriptionIn this research the influence of the municipal participatory budget was determined in human development of Santiago de Chuco District in the period 2010 - 2012. This was taken as the theoretical basis participatory budgeting and also the theory of human development was used the design is not experimental, longitudinal trend, descriptive and correlational with surveys of the population of the district to determine the level of participation of women in the participatory budget. The collection of information was the database of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Office of Planning and Budget of the Provincial Municipality of Santiago de Chuco (MPSCH) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) . Taking as a hypothesis of the study the municipal participatory budget has had a moderating influence on human development of Santiago de Chuco District in the years 2010 - 2012, considered as an indicator of the municipal participatory budget (Variable Independent), the level of effectiveness of participatory budgeting and human development (Dependent Variable), the human development Index (HDI) measured by UNDP. To measure the degree of influence between the dependent and independent variables the Pearson correlation coefficient was used. The main result was identified that the participatory budget has a correlation of - 0.0218, so it is concluded that the influence of the participatory budget in the human development of Santiago de Chuco District in the period of study was very low.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo de investigación se determinó la influencia del presupuesto participativo municipal en el desarrollo humano del Distrito de Santiago de Chuco en el periodo 2010 - 2012. Para ello se tomó como base teórica el presupuesto participativo y la teoría del desarrollo humano además se utilizó el diseño no experimental, longitudinal de tendencia, descriptivo y correlacional con encuestas dirigidas a la población del distrito para determinar el nivel de participación de ésta en el presupuesto participativo. La recolección de la información fue de la base de datos del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas (MEF), Oficina de Planeamiento y Presupuesto de la Municipalidad Provincial de Santiago de Chuco (MPSCH) y del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD). Teniendo como hipótesis del estudio el presupuesto participativo municipal ha tenido una influencia escasa en el desarrollo humano del Distrito de Santiago de chuco en los años 2010 - 2012, consideramos como indicador del presupuesto participativo municipal (Variable Independiente), el nivel de eficacia del presupuesto participativo y del desarrollo humano (Variable Dependiente), el Índice de Desarrollo Humano (IDH) medido por el PNUD. Para medir el grado de influencia entre la variable dependiente e independiente se utilizó el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Como resultado principal se identificó que el presupuesto participativo tiene una correlación de 0.0218, por lo que se concluye que la influencia del presupuesto participativo en el desarrollo humano del Distrito de Santiago de Chuco en el periodo de estudio fue muy bajo.es_PE
