dc.descriptionInvestigations related to Uncaria tomentosa indicate that it has many curative properties, so that in this research the concentration of the hydroalcoholic extract of Uncaria tomentosa in the growth of two bacteria, one Gram positive like Staphylococcus aureus and the other Gram negative Escherichia Coli. To obtain the hydroalcoholic extract of Uncaria tomentosa, the bark of this plant was obtained. 2 kg of the bark of Uncaria tomentosa "cat's claw" obtained from the city of Ucayali was obtained. This bark was cut into small fragments, then dried to the environment x 3 days and reweighed and then proceeded to spray. 100g of pulverized sample was weighed and added to one liter of 96% ethanol, allowed to soak for 10 days in an amber flask, then sampled, using sterile gauze cloth and carried to a steam vapor for Remove the ethanol until the hydroalcoholic extract is obtained. This extract was collected and stored at 4 ° C. The concentrations 50 were then prepared; 100; 500 and 1000 Ug / mL of the hydroalcoholic extract of Uncaria tomentosa. The antimicrobial activity was determined by the size of the inhibition halos, inhibition halos were produced in the 4 concentrations of the hydroalcoholic extract of Uncaria tomentosa against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, it was observed that the concentration of 50 Ug / mL had a higher halo of Inhibition (14.3 mm), however, no inhibition was observed in Escherichia coli. This research showed that the hydroalcoholic extract of Uncaria tomentosa of 50 Ug / mL concentration can be used as an alternative drug for the inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus.es_PE
dc.description.abstractInvestigaciones relacionadas con Uncaria tomentosa nos indica que tiene muchas propiedades curativas, por lo que en este trabajo de investigación se determinó la concentración del extracto hidroalcohólico de Uncaria tomentosa en el crecimiento de dos bacterias, una Gram positiva como Staphylococcus aureus y la otra Gram negativa Escherichia coli. Para la Obtención del extracto hidroalcohólico de Uncaria tomentosa se obtuvo la corteza de esta planta, Se adquirió 2 Kg de la corteza de Uncaria tomentosa “uña de gato” obtenidos de la ciudad de Ucayali. Esta corteza se cortó en pequeños fragmentos, luego secar al medio ambiente x 3 días y se volvió a pesar y luego se procedió a pulverizar. Se pesó 100g de muestra pulverizada y se agregó a un litro de etanol 96%, dejándose macerar por 10 días en un frasco color ámbar, luego se procedió a realizar filtraciones de la muestra, utilizando tela gasa estéril y se llevó a un rota vapor para eliminar el etanol hasta obtener el extracto hidroalcohólico. Este extracto fue recolectado y conservado a 4ºC. Luego se prepararon las concentraciones 50; 100; 500 y 1000 Ug/mL Del extracto hidroalcohólico de Uncaria tomentosa. La actividad antimicrobiana se determinó por el tamaño de los halos de inhibición, se produjo halos de inhibición en las 4 concentraciones del extracto hidroalcohólico de Uncaria tomentosa frente al crecimiento de Staphylococcus aureus, se observó que la concentración de 50 Ug/mL tuvo mayor halo de inhibición (14.3 mm) sin embargo en Escherichia coli no se observó ninguna inhibición. Este trabajo de investigación demostró que el extracto hidroalcohólico de Uncaria tomentosa de concentración de 50 Ug/mL puede ser utilizado como fármaco alternativo para la inhibición de Staphylococcus aureus.es_PE
