dc.descriptionObjetivo: Establecer si existe asociación entre Obesidad y Huella Plantar Aplanada en niños de 6 a 12 años. Material y Métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal, que evaluó a niños de 6 a 12 años de la IE “Generalísimo José de San Martín”, durante el año 2015. Se clasificó en niños con obesidad y sin obesidad, según las tablas del IMC para la edad de la OMS, y se clasificó en niños con huella plantar aplanada y sin huella plantar aplanada, según el Método de Hernández-Corvo. Resultados: Se encontró que el 42.11% de niños con obesidad tenía una huella plantar aplanada, además de un X2 de 4.27 (con un nivel de confianza del 95%, 𝛼=0.05) y un OR de 2.11 (IC: 1.03-4.33), indicando una asociación significativa. Conclusión: Existe asociación estadísticamente significativa entre Obesidad y Huella plantar aplanada, según el método de Hernández – Corvo, en niños de 6 a 12 años de la I.E. “Generalísimo José de San Martín”, durante el año 2015.es_ES
dc.description.abstractObjective: Establish the association between Obesity and Flattened Plantar Footprint in children 6 to 12 years. Material and methods: Descriptive transversal study that evaluated children 6 to 12 years of IE "Generalísimo José de San Martín", during 2015. Were classified in children with obesity and without obesity, according to the tables of BMI for age of WHO, and classified in children with flattened plantar footprint and without flattened plantar footprint, according to the method Hernandez-Corvo.
