dc.descriptionThis study aimed to determine the characteristics of consumption and cost of antineoplastic drugs used in the treatment of NHL in the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases "Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza "during the months of July 2014 to June 2015. It is a descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study. The information was obtained from the database of the Bureau of Technical Registration of this institute, discarding those patients whose records were illegible and/or not completed the treatment. The consumption profile was calculated using the formula set DDD to express the result in grams of drug exposure in 100 patients. For the calculation of consumer trends and cost the Pearson correlation test was applied. The therapeutic regimens were identified: R-CHOP-14 CHOEP, ESHAP ICE Rituximab, R-ESHAP, R-ICE and DHAP. As the R-CHOP scheme most used (44.03%). The average annual consumption of antineoplastic expressed in grams per 100 patients were: Rituximab 0.161 g, Cyclophosphamide 0.071 g, Doxorubicin 0.005 g, Vincristine 0.0001 g, Etoposide 0.007 g, Carboplatin 0.008 g, Ifosfamide 0.093 g, Cisplatin 0.002 g and Cytarabine 0.029 g. The trend of consumption of these drugs was decreasing in all cases. The annual costs for each antineoplastic were: Rituximab S/. 306,475.00 (94.88%), Cyclophosphamide S/. 3,349.50 (1.04%), Doxorubicin S/. 2,740.00 (0.85%), Vincristine S/. 1,140.00 (0.35%), Etoposide S/. 1,746.00 (0.54%), Carboplatin S/. 3,120.00 (0.97%), Ifosfamide S/. 1,518.00 (0.47%), Cisplatin S/. 1,680.00 (0.52%) and Cytarabine S/. 1,232.50 (0.38%). The total cost of this group of drugs in the study period resulted from S/. 323,001.00 soles. The trend of monthly cost of these drugs was decreasing in nearly all cases, except with carboplatin and ifosfamidees_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar las características de consumo y costo de fármacos antineoplásicos utilizados en el tratamiento de Linfoma no Hodgkin en el Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas “Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza”, durante los meses de julio del 2014 a junio del 2015. Es un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal y retrospectivo. La información fue obtenida de la base de datos de la Oficina de Registro Técnico de este instituto, descartándose aquellos pacientes cuyas historias clínicas eran ilegibles y/o no culminaron el tratamiento. El perfil de consumo fue calculado mediante la fórmula de DDD ajustada para expresar el resultado en exposición en gramos de medicamento por cada 100 pacientes. Para el cálculo de las tendencias de consumo y costo se aplicó la prueba de correlación de Pearson. Los esquemas terapéuticos identificados fueron: R-CHOP, CHOEP-14, ESHAP, ICE, RITUXIMAB, R-ESHAP, R-ICE Y DHAP. Siendo el esquema R-CHOP el más utilizado (44.03%). Los consumos promedio anuales de antineoplásicos expresados en exposición en gramos por 100 pacientes fueron: Rituximab 0.161 g, Ciclofosfamida 0.071 g, Doxorrubicina 0.005 g, Vincristina 0.0001 g, Etopósido 0.007 g, Carboplatino 0.008 g, Ifosfamida 0.093 g, Cisplatino 0.002 g y Citarabina 0.029 g.
