dc.descriptionThis research entitled "The noise pollution and its effects on anxiety, residents in the city of Tarapoto, San Martin - Peru," is taking the concern at the limited control measures, the noise in the center of the city, the same as that already reported worrying figures arrived at 100 dB (A) ten years ago. Obviously the noise pollution is diverse and complex effects, but this paper decided to focus its energies on the exploration of an association between noise and anxiety. To perform the task first characterized the noise in 100% of Tarapoto city blocks, using the standard proposed by Querol, and identifying a critical situation of noise pollution, later identified a random sample of people who self apply a Test Anxiety-Zung-per area identified noise: High, Low and Regular. We used the Spearman coefficient for processing the results, they indicate a growing dependency relationship between variables noise and anxiety, mainly in older people.es_ES
dc.description.abstractSe investigó sobre la contaminación sonora y sus efectos sobre la ansiedad, en pobladores de la ciudad de Tarapoto, San Martín – Perú. Primero se determinó la contaminación sonora en 323 cuadras de Tarapoto urbano, usando el Estándar propuesto por Querol (1994), y los niveles de ansiedad a través del Test de Ansiedad de Zung, identificando una situación crítica de contaminación sonora de 80 dB Se usó el Coeficiente de Spearman para procesar los resultados, los mismos que indican una relación de dependencia creciente entre las variables ruido y ansiedad, con predominio en las personas de mayor edad.es_ES
