dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad determinar el impacto de la seguridad ciudadana en la criminalidad de la ciudad de Trujillo. El problema de investigación está referido a la siguiente interrogante: ¿De qué manera la seguridad ciudadana impacta en la criminalidad de la ciudad de Trujillo 2017?; cuya hipótesis es: La seguridad ciudadana impactó significativamente en la criminalidad en la ciudad de Trujillo. La seguridad ciudad ciudadana permite reducir la criminalidad destacando como variables de estudio: variable independiente: seguridad ciudadana; y variable dependiente: la criminalidad, se utilizó el diseño no experimental descriptivo de corte transversal, así como los siguientes métodos: Deductivo-inductivo, sintético, analítico y el estadístico. La muestra objeto de estudio estuvo conformado por 350 ciudadanos; a partir del cual se estableció una muestra del total de ellos siendo una muestra censal. Se aplicó como técnica de recopilación de datos la encuesta, llegando a la conclusión que ambas variables si tiene un impacto, por tanto una incidencia entre ellas, la cual fue demostrada mediante la herramienta SPSS, determinándose que hace falta un plan donde se pueda integrarse tanto la sociedad civil y demás organizaciones con la autoridades del gobierno local y regional, por ello es necesario la implementación de los medios de comunicación, una infraestructura adecuado que puedan ser atendidos la ciudadanía y dar a un paso la confianza de la policía, el 95% opinan que criminalidad ponen riesgo a nuestro País, la estabilidad política, económica y social.es_PE
