| dc.description | The present quantitative, descriptive, correlational cross-sectional research was carried out with the purpose of establishing the relationship between knowledge about arterial hypertension and self-care practices of the elderly in times of Covid19 at the Leoncio Prado Red de Salud Sánchez Carrión Hospital, Huamachuco 2022, was carried out with adults over 60 years of age and over who were applied two instruments: Questionnaire on the level of knowledge of the elderly with arterial hypertension and Questionnaire on self-care practices in hypertensive patients, for the correlation of the variables the statistical correlation test of Spearman was used, concluding that 45% of the elderly presented moderate knowledge on arterial hypertension and 69% carried out inadequate self-care practices. The p value less than 0.01 being highly significant, the relationship was 0.726, a high relationship between the variables was obtained. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó con el propósito de establecer la relación entre el conocimiento sobre hipertensión arterial y las Prácticas de autocuidado del adulto mayor en tiempos de Covid19 en el Hospital Leoncio Prado Red de Salud Sánchez Carrión, Huamachuco 2022, se realizó con los adultos mayores de 60 años a más quienes se les aplico dos instrumentos: Cuestionario sobre el nivel de conocimiento del adulto mayor con Hipertensión arterial y Cuestionario sobre prácticas de autocuidado en pacientes Hipertensos, para la correlación de las variables se utilizó la prueba estadística de correlación de Spearman, concluyendo que el 45% de los adultos mayores presentaron conocimiento moderado sobre hipertensión arterial y el 69% realizaron prácticas inadecuadas de Autocuidado. El valor p menor a 0.01 siendo altamente significativa, la relación fue de 0.726, se obtuvo una alta relación entre las variables. | es_PE |
