dc.description.abstractSe evaluó la digestibilidad de Zea mays "Maíz Chala" y hoja de Musa paradisiaca L. "plátano" y su efecto en el rendimiento productivo de Cavia porcellus. El estudio comprendió dos etapas: la digestibilidad en Lima y el rendimiento productivo en Chepén. En la primera etapa los tratamientos fueron T0 :100 % de maíz chala, T1: 50 % de maíz chala + 50 % de hoja de plátano, y T2: 100 % de hoja de plátano, distribuyéndose los animales aleatoriamente en un DCA. Los coeficientes de digestibilidad para T0 fueron: MS.: 67.35 %, MO.: 68.04 %, PB: 57.23 %, FC.: 76.68 %, Cenizas: 58.64 %, T1 MS.: 46.07 %, MO.: 46.57 %, PB: 45.76 %, FC.: 68.26 %, Cenizas: 41.68 %, y para T2 MS.: 20.29 %, MO.: 21.96 %, PB: 39.28 %, FC.: 57.20 %, Cenizas: 15.60 % respectivamente. En la segunda etapa los tratamientos fueron los mismos, adicionando concentrado a cada tratamiento. La ganancia promedio.animal-1.día-1 fue de 12.78 g, 11.75 g, 11.34 g y la C.A. fue de: 8.4, 7.8 y 7.8 para T0, T1 y T2 respectivamente. Se observaron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los promedios de los tratamientos T0 y T2 (p < 0.05) para MS., MO., PB, Cenizas y como prueba estadística se utilizó TUKEY. Se concluye que la mayor digestibilidad, mayor ganancia de peso y menor mortalidad se obtuvo en el tratamiento T0 y las mejores conversiones alimenticias en los tratamientos T1 y T2.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The digestibility of Zea mays "Maíz Chala" and Musa paradisiaca L. "plantain" leaf and their effect on the productive performance of Cavia porcellus were evaluated. The study comprised two stages: digestibility in Lima and productive performance in Chepén. In the first stage, the treatments were T0: 100% corn husk, T1: 50% corn husk + 50% banana leaf, and T2: 100% banana leaf, the animals being randomly distributed in a DCA. The digestibility coefficients for T0 were: DM.: 67.35%, OM: 68.04%, CP: 57.23%, CF: 76.68%, Ash: 58.64%, T1 DM.: 46.07%, OM.: 46.57%, CP: 45.76%, CF.: 68.26%, Ashes: 41.68%, and for T2 DM: 20.29%, OM.: 21.96%, CP: 39.28%, CF: 57.20%, Ashes: 15.60% respectively. In the second stage the treatments were the same, adding concentrate to each treatment. The average gain animal-1.day-1 was 12.78 g, 11.75 g, 11.34 g and the C.A. was: 8.4, 7.8 and 7.8 for T0, T1 and T2 respectively. Significant statistical differences were observed between the means of the treatments T0 and T2 (p <0.05) for MS., MO., PB, Ash and TUKEY was used as a statistical test. It is concluded that the highest digestibility, greater weight gain and lower mortality were obtained in the T0 treatment and the best food conversions in the T1 and T2 treatments.
