dc.descriptionThere are populations of Dicrodon heterolepis, in some areas of Trujillo, as in the district of Huanchaco, which extends from the coastal littoral, with a supralittoral upholstered by the grasslands and some wetlands, followed by the spiny desert scrubland and the ACP Loma del Cerro Campana. For this reason, the present work determined the distribution and population structure of Dicrodon heterolepis "borregon". It was carried out in the supralitoral area of the district of Huanchaco, province of Trujillo, La Libertad, with a Stratified Systematic Random Sampling, located and georeferenced the Sampling Units (transects in strip) established (January - April, 2017) in the work area , Using the DATUM WGS84. Three replicates were carried out in both sampled sectors: the supralittoral of Huanchaquito and the Supralitoral of Huanchaco - Totoral de Huanchaco. Obtaining that D. heterolepis, has a total density of 98.46 individuals per square kilometer (0.9846 ind / Ha), shows a population structural composition in three age groups: Small, juvenile and adult, in a ratio of 1: 6: 16.8, respectively . It is also found in a sex ratio, from 1 male to 1 female. D. heterolepis, makes use of 5 microhabitats out of the 24 available, in the supra-littoral of the district of Huanchaco, whose niche amplitude or niche use is low, with B = 2,977, which is equivalent to 12.40%. dc.description.abstractExisten poblaciones de Dicrodon heterolepis, en algunas áreas de Trujillo, como en el distrito de Huanchaco, que abarca desde el Litoral costero, con un supralitoral tapizado por los gramadales y algunos humedales, seguido del matorral desértico espinoso y la ACP Loma del Cerro Campana. Por tal motivo, el presente trabajo determinó la distribución y estructura poblacional de Dicrodon heterolepis “borregon”. Se realizó en el supralitoral del distrito de Huanchaco, provincia de Trujillo, La Libertad, con un Muestreo Estratificado Sistemático Aleatorizado, se ubicaron y georeferenciaron las Unidades de Muestreo (transectos en franja) establecidas (Enero - Abril del 2017) en el área de trabajo, empleando el DATUM WGS84. Llevándose a cabo tres repeticiones en ambos sectores muestreados: El supralitoral de Huanchaquito y el Supralitoral de Huanchaco – Totoral de Huanchaco. Obteniendo que D. heterolepis, presenta una densidad total de 98.46 individuos por kilómetro cuadrado (0.9846 ind/Ha), muestra una composición estructural poblacional en tres grupos etáreos: Pequeños, juveniles y adultos, en una proporción de 1: 6: 16.8, respectivamente. Asimismo, se encuentra en una proporción de sexos, de 1 macho por 1 hembra. D. heterolepis, hace uso de 5 micro hábitats de los 24 disponibles, en el supra litoral del distrito de Huanchaco, cuya amplitud de nicho o uso de nicho es baja, con B=2.977, que equivale al 12.40%.es_PE
