dc.descriptionThe periphytic algal communities are present in aquatic systems that indicate water quality and environmental impact found . Therefore in this paper we described and quantified the periphytic microalgae in the roots of macrophytes found in the wetlands of Salaverry. Samples were taken from the wetland being a Schoenoplectus californicus, Distichlis spicata and Typha angustifolia. , Of which portions of the root of about 5 cm in length were immersed in water cut then were deposited in plastic bottles that contain previously filtered fresh water. Fixation was performed in the laboratory 5% formaldehyde and mounting with glycerin. Quantitative analysis was performed using the Sedgewick - Rafter chamber and a Leica microscope. The presence of 7 genera of microalgae was determined as Oscillatoria princeps, Oedogonium sp., Navicula sp., Fragillaria sp., Gomphonema parvulum, Nitzschia sp., Cymbella sp. in the roots of macrophytes , abundance was also determined using the indices diversity ( Shannon -Wiener and Simpson) that allowed us to evaluate the variation of species associated habitats , analyzing genres encountered and inferring that the diversity of algal species in each of the macrophytes is low , of each . dc.description.abstractLas algas perifíticas son comunidades presentes en sistemas acuáticos que nos indican la calidad de agua y el impacto ambiental en el que se encuentran. Por tal motivo en el presente trabajo, se describió y cuantifico las microalgas perifíticas en las raíces de las macrófitas que se encuentran en los humedales de Salaverry. Las muestras fueron porciones de raíces de macrofitas tomadas del humedal de Salaverry encontrándose entre ellos a Schoenoplectus californicus, Distichlis spicata y Typha angustifolia., de las cuales se tomaron porciones de la raíz de aproximadamente 5 cm de longitud que se hallaban sumergidas en el agua, luego fueron depositadas en frascos de plástico que contenían agua del humedal previamente filtrada. La fijación se realizó en el laboratorio con formol al 5% y el montaje se realizó con glicerina. El análisis cuantitativo se realizó con ayuda de la cámara Sedgewick-Rafter y un microscopio Leica. Se determinaron 7 especies de microalgas como Oscillatoria princeps, Oedogonium sp., Navicula sp., Fragillaria sp., Gomphonema parvulum, Nitzschia sp., Cymbella sp. en las raíces de las plantas macrófitas, también se determinó la abundancia con ayuda de los Índices de diversidad (Shannon-Wiener) y (Simpson) que nos permitieron evaluar la variación de especies en los hábitats correspondientes, analizando los géneros encontrados y deduciendo que la diversidad de especies de algas en cada una de las macrófitas es baja, de cada una de ellas.
