dc.descriptionABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to establish the correlation between the level of satisfaction and profile of foreign tourists who visited the Temple of the Sol y la Luna of Moche in 2009, and to identify the types of foreign tourists, for which administered questionnaire included a scale for measuring consumer satisfaction given by the authors (Oliver, 1980, 1997, Westbrook and Oliver, 1981, 1991), a scale measuring perceived service quality through satisfaction (SERPERF) proposed by Zeithaml, Parasuraman and Berry (1992) both of likerk and sociodemographic characteristics, a simple random sample of 280 foreign tourists. Using univariate and bivariate descriptive analysis and the multiple correspondence analysis and hierarchical classification, was found highly significant relationship exists between the level of satisfaction and the sex, age group, occupation, family size and source of tourists abroad, and three types of tourists: First group: Tourists unmarried, 18 to 35 years, Asians or Europeans and who are students (47% of total), second group: Tourists coming from Oceania, which are in recess or are retired (26% of total) and Third group: Tourists married or cohabiting, having a size of 1 to 5 family members who are between 35 and 65 and from Latin America and the United States (27%).es_PE
dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El propósito del presente estudio fue establecer si existe relación entre el nivel de satisfacción y el perfil del turista extranjero que visitó la Huaca del Sol y la Luna de Moche en el año 2009; e identificar las tipologías de los turistas extranjeros; para lo cual se aplicó un cuestionario que comprendía una escala de medición de la satisfacción del consumidor propuesta por los autores (Oliver, 1980, 1997; Westbrook y Oliver, 1981; 1991), una escala de medición de la calidad percibida del servicio a través de la satisfacción (SERPERF) propuesta por Zeithaml, Parasuraman y Berry (1992) ambas de likerk y características socio demográficas, a una muestra aleatoria simple de 280 turistas extranjeros. Utilizando un análisis descriptivo uni y bivariante, así como el análisis factorial de correspondencias múltiples y de clasificación jerárquica; se encontró que existe relación altamente significativa entre el nivel de satisfacción y el sexo, el grupo de edad, ocupación, procedencia y tamaño familiar del turista extranjero, y tres tipologías de turistas: Primer el grupo: Turistas solteros, de 18 a 35 años, Asiáticos o Europeos y que son estudiantes (47% del total); Segundo grupo: Turistas que proceden de Oceanía, que se encuentran en receso o están jubilados (26% del total) y Tercer grupo: Turistas casados o convivientes, que tienen un tamaño familiar de 1 a 5 miembros, los cuales tienen entre 35 a 65 años y que proceden de Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos (27%).es_PE
