Abstract
Determinar la prevalencia de la depresión en los grados leve, moderado y severo, y la prevalencia de riesgo de suicidio en los niveles leve, moderado y severo en los médicos residentes del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo; asimismo, comparar dichas y determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a síntomas de depresión y riesgo suicida en los residentes médicos del hospital en mención.
Diseño de Estudio: Descriptivo Observacional Transversal Explicativo Población: Médicos residentes del Hospital Regional Docentes de Trujillo que se
encuentren cursando el año lectivo, de los tres años académicos.
Instrumentos: Se aplicará tres instrumentos de entrevista estructurada para cumplir los
objetivos del presente estudio: El Inventario de Depresión de Beck (BDI-II), la Entrevista
Neuropsiquiátrica Internacional MINI (Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview) y
una encuesta sociodemográfica, debidamente validada, para recolectar datos relacionados a factores de riesgo.
Description
To determine the prevalence of depression in the mild, moderate and severe degrees, and the prevalence of suicide risk in the mild, moderate and severe levels in the resident doctors of the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo; likewise, to compare these and determine the risk factors associated with symptoms of depression and suicide risk in the medical residents of the hospital in question.
Study Design: Descriptive Observational Transversal Explanatory Population: Resident physicians of the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital who are studying the school year, of the three academic years.
Instruments: Three structured interview instruments will be applied to meet the objectives of this study: The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II), the MINI International
Neuropsychiatric Interview (Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview) and a
sociodemographic survey, duly validated, to collect data related to risk factors.
