dc.descriptionThe present thesis, had the purpose of determining the "Impacts of solid waste dump in the city of Guadalupe, on the environmental quality of the area of influence. A basic element of the thesis has been the development of a descriptive-nonexperimental research, of cross-causal-causal design. The purpose of the research was to show the main indicators of contamination in water, air, landscape and health of the population of the Los Jardines Human Settlement, in relation to the aforementioned solid waste dump, the characterization of the dump was previously carried out, as well as a global diagnosis of the Human Settlement. The results showed negative impacts on the environmental quality of the area, such that the percapita generation of municipal solid waste was 0.60 kg / inhabitant / day, with an estimated generation of 24.13 t / day. The physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of water are within the accepted standards for human consumption, however the concentrations of cadmium exceeded the established limit (0.0062 mg / l). In terms of air quality, the concentration of solid sedimentary material exceeded the maximum permissible limits (5 t / km2 / month), reaching values of 13.7 t / km2 / month. The diseases that frequently occur in the population, mostly are: those related to sore throat, cough and fever, there is also a considerable number of families that are dedicated to the segregation of solid waste, considering a latent risk of health . On the other hand, it was determined that the dump generates significant impacts on the landscape, not only limited to the area occupied by the final disposal site, but also extends to the human settlement. Finally it was possible to categorize the dump, according to the most important impacts it causes to the environment and human being, arriving to determine that the dump must be converted into a sanitary landfill with the necessary requirements for design, construction, operation and maintenance, according to the environment and societyes_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis, tuvo el propósito de determinar los “Impactos del botadero de residuos sólidos de la ciudad de Guadalupe, en la calidad ambiental del área de influencia. Un elemento básico de la tesis ha sido el desarrollo de una investigación descriptiva-no experimental, de diseño transeccional correlacional-causal. La investigación ha tenido por objeto mostrar los principales indicadores de contaminación en agua, aire, paisaje y la salud de la población del Asentamiento Humano Los Jardines, respecto al botadero de residuos sólidos mencionado, previamente se realizó la caracterización del botadero, asimismo se elaboró un diagnóstico global del Asentamiento Humano. Los resultados evidenciaron impactos negativos sobre la calidad ambiental de la zona, tal es así que la generación per-cápita de residuos sólidos municipales fue de 0.60 kg/hab/día, con una generación estimada de 24.13 t/día. Los parámetros físicos, químicos y microbiológicos del agua, se encuentran dentro de los estándares aceptados para el consumo humano, sin embargo las concentraciones de cadmio, superaron el límite establecido (0.0062 mg/l). En cuanto a la calidad del aire, la concentración de material sólido sedimentable superaron los límites máximos permisibles (5 t/km2/mes), llegando a valores de 13.7 t/km2/mes. Las enfermedades que frecuentemente se presentan en la población, en su mayoría son: las relacionados con los dolores de garganta, tos y fiebre, asimismo existe un considerable número de familias que se dedican a la segregación de residuos sólidos, considerándose un riesgo latente de salud. Por otro lado, se pudo determinar que el botadero genera impactos significativos en el paisaje, no sólo limitándose al área que ocupa el sitio de disposición final, sino que se extiende también al Asentamiento humano. Finalmente se pudo categorizar al botadero, de acuerdo a los impactos más importantes que ocasiona al ambiente y al ser humano, llegándose a determinar que el botadero debe ser convertido en un relleno sanitario con las exigencias necesarias para el diseño, construcción, operación y mantenimiento, acordes con el ambiente y la sociedad.es_PE
