Abstract
El lenguaje es un sistema de signos fundamental para la comunicación tanto verbal como no verbal entre las personas y de entre todas las lenguas que existen, la competencia en inglés se ha transformado en una exigencia mayor ahora que vivimos en un mundo globalizado. La coyuntura post pandemia ha traído consigo problemas en la salud mental por lo que es necesario que los estudiantes sepan comunicar lo que sienten. El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional tiene como finalidad enseñar a los estudiantes cómo expresar sus emociones oralmente y además, usando recursos no verbales: gestos, movimientos de manos y brazos, sonidos, entre otros. La metodología de enseñanza “Respuesta Física Total”, dentro del marco del enfoque comunicativo es el que se utiliza en la elaboración de la presente sesión, considerado el óptimo para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.

The post-pandemic situation has brought with it mental health problems; therefore, it is necessary for students to know how to communicate what they feel. The goal of this project is to instruct students on how to express their emotions orally and also, using non- verbal resources: gestures, hand and arm movements, sounds, among others. The teaching methodology “Total Physical Response”, within the framework of the communicative approach is the one used in the development of this session, considered optimal for student learning.
