dc.descriptionInformation has become one of the most important resources of organizations, having as a perfect support for the management of the same technology. Today it is very difficult for an organization to not rely on technology for the fulfillment of its tasks and the management of its information, because by having this one can realize the optimization of its processes. So having the technology at our fingertips is very important to apply to the critical processes of organizations. For this reason, the objective of this study is to improve the design and implementation of a web application for the automation and improvement of one of the critical processes of the Neurology Center of Trujillo as it is the Appointment Process, which is currently being developed of manual. In the study we used a general design of the experimental type of Cuasi experimental (Pre - Test and Post - Test), because for the study although the variables will be manipulated deliberately, we have some already established patterns that we have to follow, is say that the independent variable will be manipulated to see its effect on the dependent variable. With the implementation of the web application, it was possible to reduce drastically the times that were used in the processes related to the Appointment process, the benefit of this reduction of time was the reduction of opportunity costs for the organization. levels of satisfaction of patients.es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa información se ha convertido en uno de los recursos más importantes de las organizaciones, teniendo como soporte perfecto para el manejo de la misma tecnología. Hoy en día es muy difícil que una organización no se apoye en la tecnología para el cumplimiento de sus tareas y el manejo de su información, pues al contar con esta se puede realizar la optimización de sus procesos. Es así que teniendo la tecnología al alcance de nuestras manos es muy importante aplicarla a los procesos críticos de las organizaciones. Por esta razón, el objetivo de este estudio es diseñar e implementar una aplicación web para la automatización y mejora de uno de los procesos críticos del Centro de Neurología de Trujillo como lo es el proceso de citas, que en la actualidad se viene desarrollando de forma manual. En el estudio se utilizó un diseño general de la investigación de tipo Cuasi experimental (Pre – Test y Post - Test), porque para el estudio si bien se van a manipular las variables deliberadamente, tenemos algunos patrones ya establecidos que tenemos que seguir, es decir que se manipulara por lo menos la variable independiente para ver su efecto sobre la variable dependiente. Con la implementación de la aplicación web se consiguió reducir drásticamente los tiempos que se usaban en los procesos relacionados con el proceso de Citas, el beneficio de esta reducción de tiempo fue la reducción de costos de oportunidad para la organización Así mismo se logró incrementar significativamente los niveles de satisfacción en los pacientes.es_PE
