Abstract
La siguiente investigación es de tipo descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en el servicio de Control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Puesto de Salud Alto Moche, distrito de Moche, provincia de Trujillo, con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas maternas del cuidado perineal del lactante menor, durante los meses de enero – febrero 2020. El universo muestral estuvo constituido por 59 madres con sus respectivos infantes seleccionados según los criterios de inclusión establecidos, la recolección de datos se obtuvo a través de la aplicación instrumentos: “Cuestionario de conocimientos maternos y prácticas del cuidado perineal en el lactante menor” y los datos generales de la madre con su lactante. La información obtenida fue procesada en el programa estadístico SPSS versión 25 y se presentan en cuadros de simple y doble entrada, utilizando la distribución porcentual y las pruebas estadísticas a través del Chi cuadrado y Tau b de Kendall. En base a los resultados se procedió al análisis, donde existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas maternas del cuidado perineal al lactante menor (correlación de Tau b de Kendall 0.6383 y P-sig. 0.0133 < 0.05).
Description
The next investigation is descriptive, correlational and correlation cut, it was carried out in the Growth and Development Control service of the Alto Moche Health Post, district of Moche, province of Trujillo, with the purpose to determine the relation between level of knowledge and maternal practices of the perineal care in infant, during the months of January - February 2020.
The sample universe was constituted 59 mothers with their respective selected infants according the established inclusion criteria, the data collection was obtained through the application of instruments: “Maternal knowledge and perineal care practices in the infant questionary" and the general data of the mother with her infant. The information obtained was processed in the SPSS version 25 statistic program and they present in single and double entry tables, using the percentage distribution and statistic tests through Chi square and Kendall's Tau b. Based on the results, it proceeded the analysis where there is a significant relation between the level of maternal knowledge and perineal care practices in the infant (correlation of Kendall's Tau b = 0.6383 y P-sig. 0.0133 < 0.05).
