Abstract
relacionadas o asociadas.
The main purposewas to establish the connection between the useof thevirtual classroom and school performance in fifth grade students of an educational institution in Trujillo. The study population included a total of 20 students. A sample of 20 students was selected through a non-probabilistic sampling method at the discretion of the researcher. A questionnaire and a record of grades were used as data collection tools: the former to evaluate variable 1, use of the virtual classroom, and for variable 2, the record of grades in the area of mathematics, 2023, was used. After administering the questionnaire to the students who were part of the study sample, it became evident that the use of the virtual classroom is at a medium level, while school performance is at a low level. When applying the Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient, it was determined that there is an indirect positive correlation between the use of the virtual classroom and the school performance of the students of the educational institution. However, when Student's t-test was performed, it was concluded that the correlation between the use of the virtual classroom and school performance is not statistically significant, which reveals that they are not related or associated.
