| dc.description | The present study is a descriptive -correlational cross-sectional, was conducted during the months of September and October 2012, at Hospital Victor Lazarte Echegaray, in order to determine the relationship between family support and quality of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis. The universe of the sample consisted of 79 young adults and mature patients who met the inclusion criteria were applied two instruments of family support and quality instrument of life of patients on hemodialysis. The information obtained was processed and presented in tables one and two-way, using the percentage distribution As results, we found that 75.9 percent of the patients receiving the support of high and 5.1 percent receive low family support. The 49 percent of patients have high quality of life and 12.6 percent have low quality of life. Similarly it was found that 49.4 percent of patients have a high degree of family support and quality of life high, 5.1 percent of patients have low family support and low quality of life. Thus, in applying the test of independence of criteria "Chi - Square" is evidence that highly significant relationship between the degree of family support and quality of life of patients receiving hemodialysis, since the value of p is less than 0.01 (p=0.000). | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio es de tipo descriptivo – correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó durante los meses de setiembre y octubre del 2012, en el Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray, con el propósito de determinar la relación que existe entre el apoyo familiar y la calidad de vida, en los pacientes que reciben hemodiálisis. El universo muestral estuvo constituido por 79 pacientes adultos jóvenes y maduros, que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión, a quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos: apoyo familiar e instrumento de calidad de vida del paciente que recibe hemodiálisis. La información obtenida fue procesada y se presenta en tablas de una y doble entrada, utilizando la distribución porcentual. Como resultados, obtuvimos que el 75.9 por ciento de pacientes reciben apoyo familiar alto y el 5.1 por ciento reciben apoyo familiar bajo. El 49 por ciento de pacientes presentan calidad de vida alta y el 12.6 por ciento presentan calidad de vida baja. Del mismo modo se obtuvo que el 49.4 por ciento de los pacientes presentan un grado de apoyo familiar alto y calidad de vida alta; el 26.6 por ciento de los pacientes presentan apoyo familiar alto y calidad de vida media. Así, al aplicar la prueba de independencia de criterios “Chi - Cuadrado” se evidencia que existe relación altamente significativa entre el grado de apoyo familiar y calidad de vida del paciente que recibe hemodiálisis, dado que el valor de p es menor a 0.01 (p=0.000). | es_PE |
