dc.descriptionIt was determined the socioeconomic impact of agroexport development Special Project CHAVIMOCHIC in the Province of Viru, Peru from 1997 to 2007. It was worked with statistical information of arable land and agricultural production and surveys were implemented with socioeconomic indicators of INEI (2004). For the evaluation and assessment of socioeconomic impacts are designed a matrix and an array of general importance. We found an increase of arable land and 38 020 ha in the agroexportations revenues of U.S. $ 34 x 106 to U.S. $ 312 x 106. The population Viru and Chao increased their number at 18 035 and 15 145 inhabitants, their education was focused on the primary and secondary levels. The age of farmers ranged between 15 and 70 years and the number of children ranged from 2 to 4. In addition, 53% and 37% developed agricultural labor and economic incomme fluctuated between U.S. $ 100 and 300. Socioeconomic impacts of agroexport development were positive with the incorporation of land (+ 64) and (+ 62) and the negative by raising the water table (- 62) and population density (-64) in to valleys Virú and Chao respectively.es_ES
dc.description.abstractSe determinó el impacto socioeconómico del desarrollo agroexportador del Proyecto Especial CHAVIMOCHIC en la Provincia de Virú, Perú de 1997 al 2007. Se trabajó con información estadística de superficie cultivable y producción agrícola y se aplicaron encuestas con indicadores socioeconómicos del INEI (2004). Para la evaluación y valoración de los impactos socioeconómicos se diseñó una matriz general y una matriz de importancia. Se encontró un aumento de la superficie cultivable de 38 020 ha e ingresos por agroexportaciones de US $ 34 x 106 a US $ 312 x 106 . La población de Virú y Chao incrementaron su número en 18 035 y 15 145 habitantes, su educación se centró en los niveles primario y secundario. La edad de los agricultores fluctuaron entre los 15 y 70 años y el número de hijos varió entre 2 a 4. Además el 53 % y 37 % desarrollaron trabajo agrícola y el estipendio económico fluctuó entre los US $ 100 y 300. Los impactos socioeconómicos del desarrollo agroexportador positivo fueron la incorporación de tierras con (+ 64) y (+ 62) y los negativos por la elevación del nivel freático (- 62) y densidad población (-64) en los valles Virú y Chao respectivamente.es_ES
