Abstract
En la presente investigación el objetivo fue el estudio del control químico de Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary. en Solanum tuberosum L, en Sinsicap, La Libertad. La obtención de datos se realizó mediante la aplicación de encuestas a los agricultores en sus predios agrícolas. Los parámetros evaluados fueron: Variedades de papa sembradas en la zona, insecticidas que utilizan, frecuencia de aplicación, dosis de aplicación, número de aplicaciones, mezclas de insecticidas, costos de control químico, costos de producción, rendimiento y otros. Se concluye que los agricultores de la Localidad de San Ignacio y Caseríos aledaños cada año incrementan el número de aplicaciones de fungicidas para controlar a Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary, va desde 8 aplicaciones en el año 2014 hasta 12 aplicaciones en el año 2016; se ha encontrado un incremento en la frecuencia de aplicación de fungicidas para el control de 20 días en el año 2014, a 12 días en el año 2016. El costo promedio del control químico para Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary, en el cultivo de papa representa un 45% del costo promedio total de producción de 7000 mil soles y en Sinsicap, La Libertad el rendimiento promedio esta alrededor de 5 t/ha.

The present investigation the objective was the study of the chemical control of Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) De Bary. in Solanum tuberosum L, in Sinsicap, La Libertad. The obtaining of data was carried out through the application of surveys to farmers in their agricultural lands. The parameters evaluated were: Varieties of potatoes planted in the area, insecticides used, frequency of application, application rate, number of applications, insecticide mixtures, costs of chemical control, production costs, yield and others. It is concluded that the farmers of the Locality of San Ignacio and surrounding hamlets each year increase the number of applications of fungicides to control Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) De Bary, ranging from 8 applications in 2014 to 12 applications in the year 2016; an increase in the frequency of application of fungicides was found for the control of 20 days in the year 2014, to 12 days in the year 2016. The average cost of the chemical control for Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary, in the crop of potato represents 45% of the total average cost of production of 7000 thousand soles and in Sinsicap, La Libertad the average yield is around 5 t / h
