| dc.description | The present investigation of descriptive type - correlacional, Leoncio Prado carried out in women in fertile age attended in the Area of the Woman of the Hospital - Huamachuco. The compilation of the information I carry out during November, 2009, with the purpose of determining the level of knowledge, attitudes and his relation with the practice of the car examination of breast. The universe was constituted by 1040 women in fertile age that they come to the Area of the Woman of the above mentioned Hospital. The sample was shaped by 280 women who expired with the criteria of incorporation to which I apply the instrument. Of the obtained results one thinks that the level of knowledge on the practice of the car examination of breast belonged to villain with 33.9 per cent, to regulate 33.2 per cent and well 32.9 per cent. In relation to the attitude 61.8 per cent had an unfavorable attitude towards the car examination of breast, 65.4 per cent of the interviewed ones they realize a bad practice followed by 22.1 per cent regular practice of the car examination of breast. Highly significant relation exists (p <0.01) between the level of knowledge and his relation with the practice of the car examination of breast, likewise significant relation exists (p <0.05) between the attitude and his relation with the practice of the car examination of breast. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación de tipo descriptivo – correlacional, se realizó en mujeres en edad fértil atendidas en el Área de la Mujer del Hospital Leoncio Prado – Huamachuco. La recolección de los datos se llevo a cabo durante el mes de noviembre del 2009, con la finalidad de determinar el nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y su relación con la práctica del auto examen de mama. El universo estuvo constituido por 1040 mujeres en edad fértil que acuden al Área de la Mujer de dicho Hospital. La muestra estuvo conformada por 280 mujeres que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión a las cuales se les aplico el instrumento. De los resultados obtenidos se encuentra que el nivel de conocimiento sobre la práctica del auto examen de mama fue de malo con un 33.9 por ciento, regular 33.2 por ciento y bueno 32.9 por ciento. En relación a la actitud 61.8 por ciento tuvo una actitud desfavorable hacia el auto examen de mama, un 65.4 por ciento de las entrevistadas realizan una práctica mala seguido de 22.1 por ciento práctica regular del auto examen de mama. Existe relación altamente significativa (p<0.01) entre el nivel de conocimiento y su relación con la práctica del auto examen de mama, así mismo existe relación significativa (p<0.05) entre la actitud y su relación con la práctica del auto examen de mama. | es_PE |
