dc.descriptionActually, academic stress is a prevalent disease even more in this context. This influences food choice, damaging nutritional health. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine if there is a relationship between the level of academic stress and the type of eating habits in students of the Hans Heinrinch Brüning school. We conducted a descriptive, cross-sectional and observational study. The sample consisted of 164 students between the first and fifth years of secondary school. Two virtual surveys were applied to obtain data. To determine the relationship between the variables, the Chi2 test with α: 005 was used. It was identified that 45.7% of students had eating habits in the process of being adequate. 37.2% have adequate eating habits and 17.1% have inadequate eating habits. 47% of students presented moderate academic stress. 32.9% had mild academic stress and 20.1% had profound academic stress. In the Chi2 test it was obtained: p = 0.005 with α = 005. In conclusion, a relationship was found between the levels of academic stress and the types of eating habits, with a tendency for students with high academic stress to present inappropriate eating habits.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl estrés académico es una enfermedad prevalente en la actualidad y más en el contexto actual. Este influye en la elección alimentaria perjudicando la salud nutricional. Por tanto, el objetivo de este estudio fue determinar si existe relación entre el nivel estrés académico y el tipo de hábitos alimenticios en estudiantes del colegio Hans Heinrinch Brüning. Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo y transversal. La muestra fue de 164 estudiantes entre primero y quinto de secundaria. Se aplicaron dos encuestas virtuales para la obtención de datos. Para determinar la relación entre las variables se usó la prueba de Chi2 con α:005. Se identifico que el 45.7% de estudiantes presentaban hábitos alimenticios en proceso de ser adecuados. El 37.2% tienen hábitos alimenticios adecuados y el 17.1% tienen hábitos alimenticos inadecuados. El 47% de estudiantes presentaban estrés académico moderado. El 32.9% tenían estrés académico leve y el 20.1% tenían estrés académico profundo. En la prueba Chi2 se obtuvo: p=0,005 con α=005. En conclusión, se encontró una relación entre los niveles de estrés académico y los tipos de hábitos alimenticios, existiendo una tendencia de los estudiantes con estrés académico alto a presentar hábitos alimenticios inadecuados.es_PE
