dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad conocer la incidencia de la COVID 19 en la rentabilidad de las empresas del sector hotelero que cotizan en la BOLSA DE VALORES DE LIMA. En el desarrollo de la presente investigación se utilizó los métodos: descriptivo, cuantitativo y lógico, ya que se utilizó únicamente la información financiera publicada en la bolsa de valores de Lima, empleando un comparativo entre los años 2019 y 2020. Como muestra de la investigación se tomaron las 03 empresas que pertenecen al sector hotelero que cotizan en la bolsa de valores de Lima, estas son: INVERSIONES EN TURISMO S.A, INVERSIONES NACIONALES DE TURISMO S.A y NESSUS HOTELES PERÚ S.A. La pandemia ocasionada por la COVID-19 ha afectado gravemente al sector Turismo y por consecuente al sector hotelero, toda esta crisis disminuyó las ventas del sector en un 62% en promedio. Para el desarrollo de los objetivos específicos se utilizó análisis financiero y ratios de rentabilidad y para el desarrollo del objetivo general se aplicó el ratio de rentabilidad del patrimonio (ROE) a la información promediada de las empresas de la muestra del periodo 2020 cuyo resultado fue de -108%, por lo que se concluye que la Covid-19 afectó negativamente a las empresas del sector hotelero.es_PE
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of COVID-19 on the profitability of companies in the hotel sector that are listed on the LIMA STOCK EXCHANGE. In the development of the present research, the following methods were applied: descriptive, quantitative and logical, since only the financial information published in the Lima stock exchange was used, employing a comparative between the years 2019 and 2020. As a sample of the investigation, three companies belonging to the hotel sector that are listed on the Lima stock exchange were taken: INVESTMENTS IN TOURISM S.A, NATIONAL TOURISM INVESTMENTS S.A and NESSUS HOTELS PERU S.A. As it is known, the pandemic caused by COVID-19 has seriously affected the Tourism sector and consequently the hotel sector, all this crisis decreased the sales of the hotel sector by 62% on average. For the development of the specific objectives, financial analysis and profitability ratios were used and for the development of the general objective, the return on equity ratio of the patrimony (ROE) ratio was applied to the averaged information of the companies in the sample for the 2020 period and the result was -108%, so it is concluded that Covid-19 negatively affected companies in the hotel sector.
