Abstract
ABSTRACT The present research, titled "Sustainable Packaging and Its Relationship with the Cement Customer's Purchase Behavior in Trujillo, 2024," aimed to determine the relationship between the dimensions of sustainable packaging and consumer purchase behavior. A non-experimental, transactional quantitative approach was employed, complemented by an inductive, statistical, analytical, descriptive, and synthetic methodology. Data collection was conducted through surveys, utilizing a 24-item questionnaire based on the Likert scale, which was validated by experts and administered to a sample of 380 participants in Trujillo. The analysis of the results indicated a positive and significant relationship between sustainable packaging and purchase behavior, with a correlation coefficient of 0.813 and a significance level of 0.000. This demonstrates that sustainable packaging acts as a strong predictor of cement customers' purchase behavior. Among the dimensions studied, identification emerged as the strongest predictor of purchase behavior, as it showed the highest correlation level compared to the dimensions of safety and environmental protection. The results complement previous studies on the relationship between sustainable packaging and purchase behavior, while also offering a new theoretical perspective for its application in the construction sector.
