| dc.description | The present study is located within the qualitative research in the field of the human sciences, which seeks to discover a phenomenon of interest to the nursing science, uses for that purpose the phenomenological approach. This study sought to unveil the "daily caregiver's family of the patient connected to a mechanical ventilator in the ICU" in order to understand these relatives, and to deepen the humanized care performed by the nurses. Likewise, to encourage the involvement with the different realities of their work world and customer sensitivities that require emotional support for such a difficult time with is to have a relative hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit. Participated in the study 5 relatives of patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit and connected to a mechanical ventilator, Hospital Regional de Trujillo. The data were obtained through the interview based on the guiding question: Tell me how you are day to day, when visiting your relative who is connected to a mechanical ventilator?, also considered aspects of the methodological trajectory and The criteria of scientific rigor of qualitative research. | dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio se ubica dentro de la investigación cualitativa en el campo de las ciencias humanas, que busca descubrir un fenómeno de interés para la ciencia de enfermería, utiliza para tal propósito el enfoque fenomenológico. Este estudio buscó develar la “cotidianeidad del cuidador familiar del paciente conectado a un ventilador mecánico en la UCI” con la finalidad de comprender a estos familiares, y profundizar en el cuidado humanizado realizado por las enfermeras. Así mismo incentivar el involucramiento con las diferentes realidades de su mundo laboral y sensibilidades de los clientes que requieren un apoyo emocional para un momento tan difícil con es tener a un familiar internado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Participaron en el estudio 8 familiares de pacientes hospitalizados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos y conectados a un ventilador mecánico, del Hospital Regional de Trujillo. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de la entrevista en base a la pregunta orientadora: Cuénteme usted ¿cómo es el día a día, al visitar a su familiar que está conectado a un ventilador mecánico?, también se consideró los aspectos de la trayectoria metodológica y los criterios de rigor científico de la investigación cualitativa.
