dc.descriptionIn order to evaluate the effects two levels of animal protein-Proteika in the production of turkeys, Hybrid line. We evaluated 78 turkeys of the Hybrid line distributed in three treatments, separated by females and males; under a completely random design. The treatments were TM0: control treatment for male turkeys without animal protein, TM1: treatment for male turkeys with 5% animal protein, TM2: treatment for male turkeys with 8% animal protein and, TH0: control treatment for females without animal protein, TH1: treatment for females with 5% animal protein, TH2: treatment for females with 8% animal protein. Treatment 2 for the case of males achieved the best final weights, total weight gain, and feed conversion (p <0.05), at levels of 8.797 kg; 9.58 kg and 9.97 respectively. The highest consumption of food was obtained by treatment 2 for males with 17.14 kg (p <0.05). For the experimental group of females in treatment 2, the best weights were obtained and feed conversion (p <0.05), at levels of 7.15 kg; 7.75 kg and 8.03 kg respectively; the highest consumption of food was obtained by treatment 2 for females with 15.19 kg (p <0.05). The mortality percentage was statistically the same for both males and females being 2.56%. It was concluded that for both male and female turkeys the treatment with the inclusion of 8% animal protein achieved the best productive parameters, however with the treatment of 5% animal protein the parameters are also improved with respect to the control.es_PE
dc.description.abstractCon el objetivo de evaluar el efecto comparativo de dos niveles de proteína animal-Proteika en la producción de pavos, línea Hybrid. Se evaluaron 78 pavos de la línea Hybrid distribuidos en tres tratamientos, separados por hembras y machos; bajo un diseño completamente al azar. Los tratamientos fueron TM0: tratamiento testigo para pavos machos sin proteína animal, TM1: tratamiento para pavos machos con 5 % de proteína animal, TM2: tratamiento para pavos machos con 8% de proteína animal y TH0: tratamiento testigo para hembras sin proteína animal, TH1: tratamiento para hembras con 5% de proteína animal, TH2: tratamiento para hembras con 8% de proteína animal. El tratamiento 2 para el caso de machos logro los mejores pesos finales, ganancia de pesos totales, y conversión alimenticia (p<0,05), en niveles de 8,797 kg; 9,58 kg y 9,97 respectivamente. El mayor consumo de alimento en machos lo obtuvo el tratamiento 2 con 17,14 kg (p<0,05).Para el grupo experimental de hembras en el tratamiento 2 se logró los mejores pesos finales, ganancia de pesos totales, y conversión alimenticia (p<0,05), en niveles de 7,15 kg; 7,75 kg y 8,03 respectivamente; el mayor consumo de alimento en hembras lo obtuvo el tratamiento 2 con 15,19 kg (p<0,05). El porcentaje de mortalidad fue estadísticamente igual tanto para machos como para hembras siendo de 2.56 %.Se concluye que tanto para pavos machos como para hembras el tratamiento con la inclusión del 8% de proteína animal logró los mejores parámetros productivos, no obstante con el tratamiento de 5 % de proteína animal también se mejoran los parámetros con respecto al testigo.es_PE
