Efecto del extracto etanólico de Gentianella bicolor frente a estrés oxidativo inducido por acrilamida en hígado de Mus musculus

dc.description.abstractGentianella bicolor es una hierba endémica del Perú, tiene capacidad antioxidante y propiedades curativas frente a hepatopatías. El objetivo fue determinar el efecto del extracto etanólico de Gentianella bicolor frente al estrés oxidativo (EO) inducido por acrilamida en hígado de Mus musculus. Se elaboró un extracto con etanol al 96% con las hojas; se emplearon veinticinco ratones macho BALB/c divididos en cinco tratamientos a los que se les indujo EO con 50 mg/Kg de peso corporal (p.c.) de acrilamida; los tratamientos: Grupo Control Negativo (TGCN): sin inducción de EO y tratado con solución salina fisiológica (SSF), Grupo Control Positivo (TGCP): con EO y tratado con SSF, Grupo Estándar farmacológico Silimarina (TGES): con EO y tratado con 200 mg/Kg p.c. de silimarina, Grupo Experimental 100 (TGE100): con EO y tratado con 100 mg/Kg p.c. de extracto de G. bicolor, Grupo Experimental 200 (TGE200): con EO y tratado con 200 mg/Kg p.c. de extracto de G. bicolor; el EO se determinó midiendo la concentración de malondialdehído (MDA) por medio del ensayo TBARS. Los resultados se expresaron en μg MDA/g de hígado: TGCN con 0,6250±0,053; TGCP con 0,9161±0,029; TGES con 0,5295±0,033; TGE100 con 0,8467±0,040 y TGE200 con 0,6916±0,027. Concluyendo que G. bicolor si posee efecto antioxidante frente al estrés oxidativo inducido por acrilamida a dosis de 200 mg/Kg p.c.
dc.description.abstractGentianella bicolor is an endemic herb from Perú, it has antioxidant capacity and curative properties against liver diseases. The objective was to determine the effect of the ethanolic extract of Gentianella bicolor against the oxidative stress (OS) induced by acrylamide in the liver of Mus musculus. An extract with 96% ethanol was made with the leaves; Twenty-five male BALB/c mice divided into five treatments were used to which EO was induced with 50 mg/Kg of body weight (p.c.) of acrylamide; the treatments: Negative Control Group (TGCN): without EO induction and treated with physiological saline solution (SSF), Positive Control Group (TGCP): with EO and treated with SSF, Silymarin Pharmacological Standard Group (TGES): with EO and treated with 200 mg/Kg b.w. of silymarin, Experimental Group 100 (TGE100): with EO and treated with 100 mg/Kg b.w. of extract of G. bicolor, Experimental Group 200 (TGE200): with EO and treated with 200 mg/Kg b.w. of extract of G. bicolor; the EO was determined by measuring the concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA) by means of the TBARS assay. The results were expressed in μg MDA/g of liver: TGCN with 0.6250±0.053; TGCP with 0.9161±0.029; TGES with 0.5295±0.033; TGE100 with 0.8467±0.040 and TGE200 with 0.6916±0.027. Concluding that G. bicolor does have an antioxidant effect against oxidative stress induced by acrylamide at a dose of 200 mg/Kg p.c.
