dc.description.abstractLa finalidad del presente trabajo de investigación, fue determinar y evaluar la equivalencia química de Sulfametoxazol 800 mg/ Trimetoprima 160 mg tabletas, dispensadas en los Centros de Salud de Trujillo y Sulfametoxazol 800 mg/ Trimetoprima 160 innovador. Para ello se trabajó con tres lotes de producción; dos lotes adquiridos del Ministerio Nacional de Salud (MINSA), siendo adquiridos del Hospital Belén de Trujillo, Centro de Salud Materno Infantil de Huanchaco y producto innovador (establecimiento privado). Se tomo como muestra 20 tabletas de sulfametoxazol 800 mg/ Trimetoprima 160 mg por cada lote. La determinación de sulfametoxazol se realizó bajo el método espectrofotométrico de Bratton y Marshall. Los resultados obtenidos de las tabletas de sulfametoxazol dispensadas en el Hospital Belén de Trujillo, Centro de Salud Materno Infantil de Huanchaco y el producto innovador fueron expresados en porcentajes promedio de principio activo siendo; 105%, 105.8% y 102 % respectivamente. Asimismo, se determinó el porcentaje en exceso o defecto de cada muestra, obteniéndose: 5%, 5.8% y 2% respectivamente. El análisis estadístico se empleó con la prueba ANOVA y la prueba de Tukey (HSD), las cuales indicaron que no hay diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre dichos grupos, determinando que las tabletas de Sulfametoxazol dispensadas en el Hospital Belén como las del Centro de Salud Huanchaco son equivalentes frente al producto Innovador.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The purpose of this research work was to determine and evaluate the chemical equivalence of Sulfamethoxazole 800 mg/Trimethoprima 160 mg tablets, dispensed in the Health Centers of Trujillo and innovative Sulfamethoxazole 800 mg/Trimethoprima 160. For this, three production batches were worked on; two lots acquired from the National Ministry of Health (MINSA), being acquired from the Belén Hospital of Trujillo, Maternal and Child Health Center of Huanchaco and innovative product (private establishment). 20 tablets of sulfamethoxazole 800 mg/Trimethoprim 160 mg were taken as a sample for each batch. The determination of sulfamethoxazole was carried out using the spectrophotometric method of Bratton and Marshall. The results obtained from the sulfamethoxazole tablets dispensed at the Belén Hospital of Trujillo, Maternal and Child Health Center of Huanchaco and the innovative product were expressed in average percentages of active ingredient, being; 105%, 105.8% and 102% respectively. Likewise, the excess or defect percentage of each sample was determined, obtaining: 5%, 5.8% and 2% respectively. The statistical analysis was used with the ANOVA test and the Tukey test (HSD), which indicated that there are no statistically significant differences between said groups, determining that the Sulfamethoxazole tablets dispensed at the Belén Hospital and those at the Huanchaco Health Center are equivalents compared to the Innovative product.
