| dc.description | The present study of investigation of Descriptivo type, cross section, was made in students of pre degree pertaining to the 12 Faculties and its 34 respective professional schools academic of the National University of Trujillo, the Freedom, during the months of January - December of the 2006, with the purpose of determining the relation between the level of knowledge and the attitude as opposed to the environmental smoke of the tobacco. The sample was conformed by 384 students of 20 to 35 years of age, that fulfilled the inclusion criteria The data was obtained through 2 instruments, which were designed by the authors, the data were process by means of statistical software SPSS version 12; and presented/displayed in pictures and statistical graphs, applying the analysis of criteria: Square Chi test (x2). On the basis of the found results one concludes: 1. The 77,6% of the students of pre degree of the National University of Trujillo in study, have a level of knowledge adapted on environmental smoke of the tobacco. 2. 94.7% of the students of pre degree of the National University of Trujillo in study, have negative attitude forehead to the environmental smoke of the tobacco 3. The level of knowledge does not have significant statistical relation in the attitude as opposed to the environmental smoke of the tobacco, in the students of pre degree of the National University of Trujillo. | dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de investigación de tipo Descriptivo, de corte transversal, fue realizado en estudiantes de pre grado pertenecientes a las 12 Facultades y sus 34 respectivas escuelas académico profesionales de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, La Libertad, durante los meses de Enero - Diciembre del 2006, con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos y la actitud frente al humo ambiental del tabaco. La muestra estuvo conformada por 384 estudiantes de 20 a 35 años de edad, que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión La información fue obtenida a través de 2 instrumentos, los cuales fueron diseñados por las autoras, los datos fueron procesados mediante el software estadístico SPSS versión 12; y presentados en cuadros y gráficos estadísticos, aplicando el análisis de criterios: Test Chi Cuadrado (x2). En base a los resultados encontrados se concluye: 1. El 77.6% de los estudiantes de pre grado de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo en estudio, tienen un nivel de conocimiento adecuado sobre humo ambiental del tabaco. 2. El 94,7% de los estudiantes de pre grado de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, tienen actitud pasiva frente al humo ambiental del tabaco. 3. El nivel de conocimientos, no tiene relación estadística significativa en la actitud frente al humo ambiental del tabaco, en los estudiantes de pre grado de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo.
