dc.descriptionABSTRACT The emotional intelligence is a construct that has been established in repeated research influences work performance. The present investigation studies the influence of emotional intelligence in the work performance of the operative collaborators of the Distribuidora Droguería Las Américas S.A.C. - Year 2017. It is a cross-sectional, descriptive correlational investigation. The sample consisted of 20 operative workers. Two instruments were used to collect data: Daniel Goleman Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) questionnaire, which was translated, evaluated adapted by Hendrie Weisinger (2001) consisting of 45 items which allows us to measure the dimensions of intelligence emotionally, the method of graphic scales by Edgar Argueta (2007), which consists of 13 items, which measure the quality of work, proactivity and decision making. Both instruments are measured on the Likert response scale. With the research carried out, we conclude that both research variables are strongly and positively correlated, on the other hand the p-value (sig-bilateral) that is equal to 0.000 which is less than 1% indicates that it is accepted the research hypothesis, therefore, exists a highly significant relationship between the study variables.es_PE
dc.description.abstractRESUMEN La inteligencia emocional es un constructo que en reiteradas investigaciones se ha establecido tiene influencia sobre el desempeño laboral. La presente investigación estudia la influencia de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores operarios en la Distribuidora Droguería Las Américas S.A.C. – Año 2017. Es una investigación de corte transversal, descriptivo correlacional. La muestra estuvo constituida por 20 trabajadores operarios. En la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos: el cuestionario Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) de Daniel Goleman, el cual fue traducido, evaluado adaptado por Hendrie Weisinger (2001) que consta de 45 ítems el cual nos permite medir las dimensiones de la inteligencia emocional así mismo, el método de escalas gráficas de Edgar Argueta (2007), el cual consta de 13 ítems, los cuales miden la calidad de trabajo, proactividad y toma de decisiones. Ambos instrumentos se miden sobre la escala de respuesta tipo Likert. Con la investigación realizada llegamos a la conclusión de que ambas variables de investigación están correlacionadas de manera fuerte y positiva, por otro lado el p-valor (sig-bilateral) que es igual a 0.000 el cual es menor al 1% indica que se acepta la hipótesis de investigación, por tanto, existe una relación altamente significativa entre las variables de estudio.es_PE
