| dc.description | The objective of this quantitative, descriptive, correlational research was to determine the influence of lifestyles of mothers and nutritional status in children under one year of age in the San Ignacio Village Center, Sinsicap District 2018. The sample was 64 children and their mothers respectively. The instruments used were: Questionnaire to determine the influence of lifestyles of mothers and nutritional status of children under one year, questionnaire and tables assessing the nutritional status of children under one year. The results were presented in single and double entry tables; the influence between variables was made using the chi-square test, the results show that of 64 mothers of children under 1 year old, 51.6 percent have an adequate lifestyle and 48.4 percent have an inadequate lifestyle, in relation to nutritional status, according to weight / age, 95.3 percent normal, 3.1 percent malnourished, 1.6 percent overweight; according to size / age, 66 percent normal, 34 percent short size; according to size / weight 89 percent normal, 9.4 percent overweight; 1.6 percent obesity; relating weight / age and lifestyles 50 percent have adequate lifestyles and normal nutritional status, 45.3 percent inadequate lifestyles and normal nutritional status; 1.6 percent adequate lifestyle and overweight children, 3.1 percent inappropriate lifestyles and malnourished children. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia de estilos de vida de las madres de familia y estado nutricional en niños menores de un año del Centro poblado San Ignacio, Distrito Sinsicap 2018. La muestra fue de 64 niños y sus madres respectivamente. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: Cuestionario para determinar la influencia de estilos de vida de madres de familia y estado nutricional de niños menores de un año, cuestionario y tablas de valoración del estado nutricional del menor de un año. Los resultados se presentaron en tablas de una y doble entrada; la influencia entre variables se realizó mediante la prueba chi - cuadrado, los resultados muestran que de 64 madres de niños menores de 1 año el 51.6 por ciento tienen estilo de vida adecuado y 48.4 por ciento estilo de vida inadecuado, en relación al estado nutricional, según peso/edad, 95.3 por ciento normales, 3.1 por ciento desnutridos, 1.6 por ciento sobrepeso; según talla/edad, 66 por ciento normales , 34 por ciento talla baja ; según talla/peso 89 por ciento normales, 9.4 por ciento sobrepeso; 1.6 por ciento obesidad; relacionando peso/edad y estilos de vida el 50 por ciento tiene estilos de vida adecuados y estado nutricional normal, 45.3 por ciento estilos de vida inadecuado y estado nutricional normal; 1.6 por ciento estilo de vida adecuado y niños con sobrepeso, 3.1 por ciento estilos de vida inadecuado y niños desnutridos.
