Abstract
La presente investigación fue un estudio no experimental, cuantitativo, descriptivo, de corte transversal cuya finalidad fue determinar el nivel de síndrome de Burnout en el profesional de enfermería que labora en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital público III- 1 Trujillo, en el periodo enero – marzo del 2023. El universo muestral estuvo conformado por 29 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el servicio y aceptaron participar en la investigación. Para recolectar la información se utilizó como instrumento el cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory; los datos obtenidos fueron procesados utilizando Microsoft Excel SPSS de WINDOWS, posteriormente se utilizó el programa estadístico IBM SPSS Statistics 26, encontrando que el 93.1% de los profesionales de enfermería que laboran la unidad de cuidados intensivos presenta síndrome de Burnout categorizado como nivel medio y en relación a sus dimensiones el nivel predominante es bajo; 48.3% para agotamiento emocional, 41.4% para despersonalización y el 37.9%. en realización personal respectivamente. Se llega a la conclusión que la gran mayoría de profesionales de Enfermería que labora en la unidad de cuidados críticos presenta síndrome de Burnout en la categoría nivel medio
The purpose of this research was a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study to determine the level of burnout syndrome in the nursing professional who works in the Intensive Care Unit of a public hospital III-1 Trujillo, in the period January - March 2023. The sample universe was made up of 29 nursing professionals who work in it and agreed to participate in the research. To collect the information, the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire was used as an instrument. The data obtained were processed using Microsoft Excel SPSS for WINDOWS, then the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 statistical program was used, finding that 93.1% of the nursing professionals who work in the intensive care unit present burnout syndrome categorized as medium level and in relation to its dimensions, the predominant level is low; 48.3% for emotional exhaustion, 41.4% for depersonalization and 37.9%. in personal fulfillment respectively. It is concluded that the vast majority of Nursing professionals who work in the critical care unit present burnout syndrome in the medium level category
