dc.descriptionThe objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status of children in the 4-year classroom of the Saber y Fantasia Educational Institution with Maria N ° 206, Trujillo in the month of September - October 2017, a group of 90 children of both sexes was evaluated using anthropometric indicators (weight in relation to height and height in relation to age). For the process and interpretation of the indicators, Z scores were used. The nutritional status was classified as: normal, severe thinness (height / age), risk of severe thinness (height / age), overweight and obesity. According to the height-for-age parameter, it was found that the nutritional status of girls is normal in 98%, 2% have short stature, in the case of children 100% present a normal state; considering the mass index girls body was found that 38% corresponds to normal, 42% is overweight, 18% obesity and 2% risk thin tube, and in the case of children 44% have a normal BMI, 29% are overweight , 24% obesity and 2% presented risk of thinness. In conclusion according to the Z scores of the evaluated indicators, 40% of the total children have a normal nutritional status and there is a tendency to overweight with 35%es_PE
dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo se evaluó el estado nutricional de niños del aula de 4 años de la Institución Educativa Saber y Fantasía con María N° 206, Trujillo en el mes de septiembre - octubre de 2017, se evaluó un grupo de 90 niños de ambos sexos mediante indicadores antropométricos (peso en relación a la talla y talla en relación a la edad). Para el proceso e interpretación de los indicadores, se utilizó las puntuaciones Z. El estado nutricional se clasificó en: normal, delgadez severa (talla/edad), riesgo de delgadez severa (talla/edad), sobrepeso y obesidad. De acuerdo al parámetro talla para la edad, se encontró que el estado nutricional de las niñas es normal en un 98% , 2% presentan talla baja, en el caso de los niños el 100% presentan un estado normal; considerando el índice de masa corporal de las niñas se encontró que el 38% corresponde a lo normal, 42% presenta sobrepeso, 18% obesidad y el 2% tubo riesgo de delgadez, y en el caso de los niños 44% presenta un IMC normal, 29% presenta sobrepeso, 24% obesidad y un 2% presentaron riesgo de delgadez. En conclusión según las puntuaciones Z de los indicadores evaluados, el 40% del total de los niños presentan un estado nutricional normal y habiendo una tendencia al sobrepeso con un 35%.es_PE
