Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se llevó a cabo en los caseríos de Huangalá, Sullana, Departamento de Piura, teniendo como fin realizar un diagnóstico y determinar el agente causal y los métodos de control de la muerte regresiva en el cultivo de vid (Vitis vinífera L.) var. Red Globe, enfermedad de importancia en esta zona_x000D_
La metodología utilizada fue a través de Identificación de plantas con síntomas de muerte regresiva, recolección de órganos enfermos, aislamiento y aclimatación de patógenos en laboratorio. Se ha desarrollado en placas Petri con medio de cultivo a base de papa-dextrosa-agar (técnica PDA), asimismo se realizaron evaluaciones para determinar la incidencia y severidad de la enfermedad en campo, observando 11.5 % y 2.75 % respectivamente_x000D_
Se logró aislar el hongo Lasiodiplodia theobromae Pat., y determinar su presencia en todas las muestras procesadas, se determinó además que el método de control cultural aplicado tiene una mayor ventaja en vid

This investigation was carried out in the villages of Huangalá, Sullana, Department of Piura, with the purpose of making a diagnosis and determining the causal agent and methods of control of regressive death in grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) The methodology identified plants with symptoms of regressive death, collection of diseased organs, isolation and acclimatization of pathogens in the laboratory. It was developed in Petri plates with potato-dextrose-agar culture medium (PDA technique), and the evaluations were carried out to determine the incidence and severity of the disease in the field, observing 11.5 % and 2.75 %, respectively_x000D_
