| dc.description | The research study present of descriptive- correlational of traverse court was carried out during the months of May - June in 2009, with mothers of nurslings smaller 1 year old that belong to the Health Post "Alto Moche", with the purpose of determining the relationship exists between the level of knowledge and maternal practices on the acute respiratory infections. The sample was constituted by 58 mothers selected according to established inclusion approaches. For the gathering of data the denominated instrument was used: Test to determinate the Level of Knowledge and Maternal Practices on Acute Respiratory Infections (TLKMPARI). The obtained data were tabulated, processed in MINITAB version 14 and presented in charts of simple and double entrance, with numeric and percentage frequencies, as well as in graphics. The obtained information was processed and analyzed by means of the test of independence of approaches squared Chi (X2). Being the following conclusions: Of the total of mothers in study, 48 percent have high knowledge, the 45 percent have medium knowledge and only 7 percent have low knowledge. The maternal practices on the acute respiratory infections in nurslings smaller 1 year ago, are adequate in 79 percent so the maternal practices are inadequate in 21 percent. The level of knowledge on the acute respiratory infections in mothers of nurslings smaller 1 year ago presents highly significant statistical relationship with the maternal practices. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de investigación es de tipo descriptivo-correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó durante los meses de Mayo- Junio del 2009, con madres de lactantes de menores de 1 año que pertenecen al Puesto de Salud “Alto Moche”, con la finalidad de determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas maternas sobre infección respiratoria aguda. La muestra estuvo constituida por 58 madres seleccionadas según criterios de inclusión establecidos. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el instrumento denominado: Test para determinar el Nivel de Conocimiento y Prácticas Maternas sobre Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas (TNCPMIRA). Los datos obtenidos fueron tabulados, procesados en MINITAB versión 14 y presentados en tablas de simple y doble entrada, con frecuencias numéricas y porcentuales, así como en gráficos. La información obtenida fue procesada y analizada mediante la prueba de independencia criterios Chi cuadrado (X2). Encontrándose las siguientes conclusiones: El 48 por ciento de madres tienen nivel de conocimiento alto, el 45 por ciento tienen nivel de conocimiento medio y solo el 7 por ciento tienen nivel de conocimiento bajo. Las prácticas maternas sobre Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas son adecuadas, en un 79 por ciento, seguidas de las prácticas inadecuadas con un 21 por ciento. El nivel de conocimiento sobre Infección Respiratoria Aguda en madres de lactantes menores de 1 año presenta relación estadística altamente significativa con las prácticas maternas. | es_PE |
