Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de conocer el manejo agronómico de Cucumis sativus L. en fitotoldos en Cusipampa, Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad. Para ello se realizaron encuestas y entrevistas a una población de 10 productores de pepinillo de la zona. El tiempo de siembra de pepinillo es de 10 meses como máximo y 3 meses como mínimo, el área de siembra para este cultivo es de 8 metros cuadrados como mínimo y 16 metros cuadrados como máximo; la semilla que utilizan los productores es certificada; las labores que realizan antes de la instalación del cultivo son las siguientes el 100% realizan picoteo, riego y surcado; el 80% abonan, el 90% nivelan y el 60% realizan el rastrillado. El tipo de siembra que realizan los productores es directa, la época se siembra es durante todo el año; la densidad de siembra es diferente por cada productor, entre planta oscila de 30 a 50 cm y entre surco de 60 a 80cm; el tipo de riego es por gravedad; el 100% utiliza abono orgánico en cantidades que varían entre 30 kilogramos como mínimo y 50 kilogramos como máximo, por área sembrada; la frecuencia de riego es variable y la cantidad de frutos cosechados oscila entre 23 a 38 frutos por planta.
ABSTRACT The present research work was developed with the objective of knowing the agronomic management of Cucumis sativus L. in phytotoldos in Cusipampa, Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad. For this, surveys and interviews were conducted with a population of 10 pickle producers in the area. Gherkin sowing time is a maximum of 10 months and a minimum of 3 months, the sowing area for this crop is a minimum of 8 square meters and a maximum of 16 square meters; the seed used by the producers is certified; The tasks carried out before the installation of the crop are as follows: 100% perform pecking, irrigation and furrowing; 80% compost, 90% level and 60% carry out raking. The type of sowing carried out by the producers is direct, the sowing time is throughout the year; the sowing density is different for each producer, between plants it ranges from 30 to 50 cm and between rows from 60 to 80 cm; the type of irrigation is by gravity; 100% use organic fertilizer in quantities that vary between 30 kilograms minimum and 50 kilograms maximum, per planted area; the frequency of irrigation is variable and the quantity of fruits harvested ranges from 23 to 38 fruits per plant.
