dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación titulado: “Caracterización del sistema de siembra de Zea mays L. en el caserío de Guadalupe, La Libertad.”, se realizó en los campos de los agricultores que siembran el cultivo de maíz en la denominada campaña chica, ubicados en el caserío de Guadalupe, Región La Libertad. El objetivo fue: realizar el estudio de la caracterización de los sistemas de siembra de Zea mays L. en la zona de Guadalupe, La Libertad. Los parámetros evaluados fueron: Modalidad de siembra, labores previas a la labranza, labranza, calidad de semilla, variedades o híbridos utilizados, cantidad de semillas, riegos, primera fertilización, rendimiento y costo de producción. Los resultados fueron obtenidos mediante la aplicación de una encuesta in situ a los agricultores que siembran maíz. De acuerdo a los resultado obtenido se concluyó que: El sistema de siembra más utilizado por los agricultores que siembran maíz amarillo duro en el caserío de Guadalupe es el mecanizado (56.3%) a diferencia del sistema de siembra manual (43.7%). La densidad poblacional más utilizada en el sistema de siembra mecanizada es de 87,000 plantas por hectárea, a diferencia de 83,333 utilizados en el sistema de siembra manual. En el sistema de siembra mecanizada se obtienen rendimientos promedios entre 11,500 y 12,000 kilogramos por hectárea los cuales son superiores a 10,000 kilogramos por hectárea obtenidos en el sistema de siembra manual. En el sistema de siembra mecanizada se obtienen costo de producción de S/. 3,390.95 los cuales son menores a los S/. 3,689.75 obtenidos en el sistema de siembra manual.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The present research work entitled: “Characterization of the seeding system of Zea mays L. In the hamlet of Guadalupe, La Libertad. ", was carried out in the fields of farmers who sow maize cultivation in the so-called small campaign, located in the hamlet de Guadalupe, region La Libertad. The objective was: to study the characterization of the planting systems of Zea Mays L. in the area of Guadalupe, la Libertad the parameters evaluated were: Sowing mode, pre-tillage work, tillage, seed quality, varieties or hybrids used, quantity of seeds, irrigation, first fertilization, yield and cost of Production. The results were obtained through the application of a found in situ to the farmers who sow maize. According to the results obtained, it was concluded that: The planting system most used by farmers who sow hard yellow maize in the hamlet of Guadalupe is mechanized (56.3%) unlike the manual sowing system (43.7%). The population density most commonly used in the mechanized planting system is 87.000 plants per hectare, Unlike 83.333 used in the manual sowing System. In the mechanized sowing system, average yields are obtained between 11.500 and 12.000 kilograms per hectare which are higher than 10.000 kilograms per hectare obtained in the manual sowing System.
