Errores de prescripción en el servicio de Medicina General de un Centro de Salud Nivel I, julio 2021 – abril 2022

Abstract
El presente informe tuvo objetivo determinar y evaluar los errores de prescripción médica así como también sus respectivos porcentajes para la determinación de la cantidad de errores prescritos en el servicio de medicina general de un Centro de Salud Nivel I durante el periodo julio 2021 – abril 2022, para ello se llevó a cabo una recolección de datos que fueron tomados durante el periodo ya mencionado y puestos en una hoja de Excel, se tomaron como base 361 recetas que fueron elaboradas por el médico prescriptor en el servicio de medicina general, se evaluó cada una de las recetas observando los errores más significativos que el médico puede cometer al formular una receta médica al indicar un medicamento para una respectiva patología. De las recetas prescritas se encontró un 98% de errores ya sea en la parte de los datos del paciente, medicamento o prescriptor. Ese mismo porcentaje pertenecía a la ausencia del teléfono del paciente, así como también el diagnóstico con un 68%, el DNI con un 23% y finalmente la edad con un 17%. En cuanto a la parte del medicamento, el 21% pertenece a la omisión de concentración del fármaco, seguido de la concentración del medicamento con un 4%. En los datos del prescriptor el 57% fueron acerca de la ilegibilidad de escritura, así el 1% fueron de la ausencia del sello y firma del profesional médico. En la parte de la receta de las indicaciones no se observó ningún error ya que contenían los datos solicitados, esto es ajeno a la falta de legibilidad del prescriptor. Además se calculó la cantidad de medicamentos prescritos por receta, siendo el resultado de 1.9 por encima del valor referencial, así como también el mayor grupo farmacológico dispensando en el establecimiento, los cuales fueron los AINES y analgésico/antipirético.
