dc.descriptionThis quantitative study, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional method, was carried out during the month of December 2021 at Hospital Lazarte, with the aim of determining the relationship between Level of knowledge and self-care practices of patients who receive peritoneal dialysis in the aforementioned hospital. The sample consisted of 25 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The instrument called: evaluation of the Level of knowledge and evaluation scale of self-care practices of patients receiving peritoneal dialysis was used. The information obtained was processed in the SPSS version 25 program, and is presented in simple and double-entry tables. To determine the relationship of variables, the Chi square statistical test was used. The results indicated that the higher the level of knowledge, the better the level of self-care practices; Finally, the results show that there is a statistically significant relationship between Level of Knowledge variables and self-care practices of patients receiving peritoneal dialysises_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó durante el mes de diciembre del 2021 en el Hospital Lazarte, con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre Nivel de conocimientos y prácticas de autocuidado de los pacientes que reciben diálisis peritoneal en el mencionado nosocomio. La muestra estuvo conformada por 25 pacientes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Se utilizó el instrumento denominado: evaluación del Nivel de conocimiento y escala de evaluación de prácticas de autocuidado de pacientes que reciben diálisis peritoneal. La información obtenida fue procesada en el programa SPSS versión 25, y se presenta en tablas simples y de doble entrada. Para determinar la relación de variables, se utilizó la prueba estadística de Chi cuadrado. Los resultados indicaron que a mayor nivel de conocimiento existe mejor nivel de prácticas de autocuidado; finalmente los resultados muestran que existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre variables de Nivel de Conocimiento y prácticas de autocuidado de pacientes que reciben diálisis peritoneales_PE
