Propuesta de un programa didáctico para desarrollar el pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes de educación secundaria de la I.E. Libertad

Abstract
El objetivo principal de investigación fue diseñar una propuesta didáctica la cual contribuya en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes del cuarto grado de educación secundaria dentro del área de Ciencias Sociales, en la I. E. Libertad, de la ciudad de Trujillo. La metodología estuvo basada en un diseño no experimental, del tipo descriptivo-propositivo, dentro de un proceso de investigación mixta. Para establecer el nivel de desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes se consideró la aplicación de una encuesta, la cual fue previamente evaluada por juicio de expertos. La confiabilidad del mencionado instrumento dentro del índice Alfa de Cronbach mostró estar dentro del nivel aceptable. Los resultados arrojaron que los estudiantes estaban en un nivel bajo en las diferentes dimensiones del pensamiento crítico, las cuales son la inferencia, interpretación, explicación, análisis, autorregulación y la evaluación. Ante esto se diseñó un programa didáctico que incluye las estrategias más pertinentes para mejorar el pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes de secundaria dentro del área de Ciencias Sociales.
The main research objective was to design a didactic proposal which contributes to the development of Critical Thinking in students of the fourth grade of secondary education within the area of Social Sciences, at the I. E. Libertad, of the city of Trujillo. The methodology was based on a nonexperimental design, of the descriptive-propositional type, within a mixed research process. To establish the level of development of critical thinking in students, a survey was considered, which was previously evaluated by expert judgement. The reliability of the aforementioned instrument within the Cronbach Alpha index showed to be within the acceptable level. The results showed that the students were at a low level in the different dimensions of critical thinking, which are inference, interpretation, explanation, analysis, self-regulation and evaluation. In response, a didactic program was designed that includes the most relevant strategies to improve critical thinking in high school students within the area of Social Sciences.
