| dc.description.abstract | La investigación presentada se orientó a analizar cuál es la influencia del Business Intelligence o Inteligencia de negocios, en la gestión financiera y la toma de decisiones de una empresa de ubicada en la ciudad de Trujillo, entendiéndose por Business Intelligence como el conjunto de tecnologías, herramientas y procesos para recopilar, analizar y presentar información empresarial significativa y útil, y que además tiene como objetivo mejorar la toma decisiones y el rendimiento empresarial. Otro de los objetivos que se tuvo al desarrollar está investigación fue mostrar de qué manera el Contador puede usar estas nuevas tendencias tecnológicas para dar aún más valor a su importante trabajo, en un mundo laboral en el cual aparecen nuevas tendencias tecnológicas constantemente, y que saber aplicarlas correctamente puede dar una gran ventaja competitiva. Para esto, se analizó la cadena de valor de la empresa del caso de estudio, sus procesos e información financiera, para poder así identificar aquellos puntos débiles y brindar una posible solución innovadora al implementar Business Intelligence. Sobre la metodología utilizada esta tiene un alcance descriptiva-propositiva, diseño preexperimental, con enfoque mixto, en el cual se empleará técnicas de investigación como la entrevista y el análisis documental para describir la situación de las variables. Se logró concluir que la implementación de Business Intelligence influye positivamente en la gestión financiera de la empresa ya que permitió mejorar la toma de decisiones específicamente en las decisiones relacionadas a la compra, almacenamiento y rotación de mercadería, además de dejar la posibilidad de mejorar la implementación de acuerdo a las necesidades futuras de la gerencia. | |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT The presented research aimed to analyze the influence of Business Intelligence on financial management and decision-making in a company located in the city of Trujillo. Business Intelligence is understood as the set of technologies, tools, and processes for collecting, analyzing, and presenting meaningful and useful business information, with the objective of enhancing decision-making and business performance. Another objective of this research was to demonstrate how accountants can leverage these emerging technological trends to add further value to their important work in a constantly evolving work environment, where the correct application of such technologies can provide a significant competitive advantage. To achieve this, the value chain of the case study company, its processes, and financial information were analyzed to identify weaknesses and provide innovative solutions through the implementation of Business Intelligence. The methodology employed was descriptive-propositional in nature, with a preexperimental design and a mixed approach, incorporating research techniques such as interviews and documentary analysis to describe the variables' situation. The findings concluded that the implementation of Business Intelligence positively influences the financial management of the company, as it improved decision-making, particularly in areas such as purchasing, inventory management, and merchandise rotation. Furthermore, the implementation allows for future improvements tailored to the management's evolving needs. | |
