dc.descriptionThis research, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional type was held in the Educational Institution San Nicolas de Huamachuco, to determine how it influences the level of knowledge about contraceptive methods, prevention of teenage pregnancies. The sample consisted of 66 adolescents. Data collection was obtained by applying two instruments: Survey level of knowledge about contraceptive methods and pregnancy prevention. The data were tabulated and statistical tables presented in single and double entry. Statistical analysis between variables was performed using test Chi Square independence criteria ( ). After the analysis has led to conclusions. Of all the adolescents 15.2 percent has a poor level of knowledge, regularly 40.9 percent, 28.8 percent good, only 15.2 per cent very good. Of all teenage 59.1 percent pregnancy prevention is inadequate, and 40.9 percent is suitable. There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about contraception and prevention of teenage pregnancy (X2 = 13,503 p = 0.003).es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación, de tipo descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en la Institución Educativa San Nicolás de Huamachuco, para determinar cómo influye el nivel de conocimientos sobre métodos anticonceptivos, en la prevención de embarazos de adolescentes. La muestra estuvo conformada por 66 adolescentes. La recolección de datos se obtuvo mediante la aplicación de dos instrumentos: Encuesta nivel de conocimientos sobre métodos anticonceptivos y prevención de embarazos. Los datos obtenidos fueron tabulados y presentados en tablas estadísticas de simple y doble entrada. El análisis estadístico entre variables se realizó mediante la prueba de independencia de criterios Chi Cuadrado ( ). Después del análisis se llegó a las conclusiones. Del total de adolescentes el 15.2 por ciento presenta un nivel de conocimientos deficiente, el 40.9 por ciento regular, el 28.8 por ciento bueno, solo 15.2 por ciento muy bueno. Del total de adolescente el 59.1 por ciento su prevención de embarazo es inadecuado, y el 40.9 por ciento es adecuado. Existe una relación altamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimientos sobre métodos anticonceptivos y prevención de embarazos en adolescentes (X2 = 13.503 p = 0.003).es_PE
