Item Impacto de la exportación de aceitunas y sus derivados en el sector exportador agropecuario del Perú: 2000-2011.(Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2013) Andrade Arana, Delia Marjoree; Sulen Lau, FelixAs the agro-export activity in our country, one of the alternatives to boost economic development and overcoming poverty, I decided to evaluate to what extent the export of olives and their derivatives have impacted the agricultural export sector of Peru in the period 2000 - 2011, taking into account the positioning achieved by other non-traditional agricultural exports. The data found and processed let me assume that the export of olives and its derivatives have significantly impacted on the agricultural export sector of Peru, due to the growth in both growing areas, production and yields thereof and increased global demand; during the period of study, positively influencing the growth of the agricultural export sector of our country and the quality of life of the population. The main objective of the research is to determine the impact of the export of olives and their derivatives in the agricultural export sector of Peru from 2000 to 2011. It is also proposed to quantify the volume, amount and price of export products in question, the same way, economically analyze the impact of this activity during the period evaluated. Was raised to identify target markets for the products of the research subject. A non- experimental / longitudinal / descriptive design and processing of historical data of the study period indicated was used. viii It is concluded that the export of olives and their derivatives, does not significantly impacts the agricultural export sector of Peru, given that the attributes that give the fruit quality, ensure competitiveness in that market. We can assert that the vast uncultivated areas of the coastal region of Peru, satisfy the conditions of climate and soil, while waiting for the development of programs that provide the necessary water resources, such as special projects: CHAVIMOCHIC and OLMOS - TINAJONES in north, and MAJES SIGUAS in the south.
