Abstract
La investigación Ansiedad y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de Ingeniería ambiental de una universidad pública, tuvo como objetivo general establecer la relación que existe entre la ansiedad y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería ambiental; es de tipo descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal. La muestra poblacional estuvo conformada por 103 estudiantes, a los cuales se les aplicó el cuestionario de la Escala de Ansiedad Manifiesta para Universitarios (AMAS-C). Para la medición del rendimiento académico se tuvo acceso a las notas finales del curso de línea. Los datos obtenidos se procesaron utilizando el software IBM SPSS versión 27, se aplicó la prueba estadística de Tau - C de Kendall, teniendo como resultado = -,301, (p= <.001) < 0.05, indicando una relación significativa entre nuestras variables, evidenciándose que la fuerza de correlación inversa.
