dc.descriptionThe National University of Trujillo has the area of Psychology in the General_x000D_ Office of University Welfare, which is responsible for the care, evaluation, diagnosis_x000D_ and treatment of students who go to that area. There is only one Psychologist in_x000D_ this area, and when there is a need to diagnose if a patient has any type of Depressive_x000D_ Disorder, he does not have a mechanism to help him evaluate and diagnose his_x000D_ patients in a fast and efficient way, since The psychologist uses a practically manual_x000D_ method to evaluate and diagnose his patients._x000D_ This is why the need arises to implement a tool to support the Psychologist_x000D_ in the diagnosis of Depressive Disorders, in order to streamline and optimize the_x000D_ evaluation process and the diagnosis of patients._x000D_ The mentioned tool consists of the implementation of a Knowledge Based System_x000D_ (SBC) using Artificial Neural Networks (RNA), and for its modeling and development_x000D_ was used the Methodology of Knowledge Engineering proposed by John_x000D_ Durkin._x000D_ The final results of the investigation were satisfactory, since the system was_x000D_ able to diagnose with a high percentage of certainty. In addition, it was possible to_x000D_ provide a technological tool to support the Psychology specialist, improving their_x000D_ performance in the diagnostic process of Depressive Disorderses_PE
dc.description.abstractLa Universidad Nacional de Trujillo cuenta con el área de Psicología en la Oficina_x000D_ General de Bienestar Universitario, la cual se encarga de la atención, evaluación,_x000D_ diagnóstico y tratamiento del alumnado que acuda a dicha área. Existe un único Psicólogo_x000D_ para esta área, y cuando surge la necesidad de diagnosticar si un paciente_x000D_ presenta algún tipo de Trastorno Depresivo, éste no cuenta con un mecanismo que_x000D_ le ayude a evaluar y diagnosticar a sus pacientes de una manera rápida y eficiente,_x000D_ puesto que el psicólogo emplea un método prácticamente manual para evaluar y_x000D_ diagnosticar a sus pacientes._x000D_ Es por ello que surge la necesidad de implementar una herramienta que sirva_x000D_ de apoyo al Psicólogo en el diagnóstico de Trastornos Depresivos, con el fin de_x000D_ agilizar y optimizar el proceso de evaluación y el diagnóstico de los pacientes._x000D_ Dicha herramienta mencionada consiste en la implementación de un Sistema_x000D_ Basado en Conocimiento (SBC) usando Redes Neuronales Artificiales (RNA), así_x000D_ mismo para su modelamiento y desarrollo se empleó la Metodología de Ingeniería_x000D_ del Conocimiento propuesta por Jhon Durkin._x000D_ Los resultados finales de la investigación fueron satisfactorios, ya que el sistema_x000D_ fue capaz de diagnosticar con un alto porcentaje de certeza. Además se logró brindar_x000D_ una herramienta tecnológica de apoyo al especialista de Psicología, mejorando_x000D_ su desempeño en el proceso de diagnóstico de Trastornos Depresivoses_PE
