Efectividad en el servicio de agua potable de la empresa COVARS aplicando un sistema de gestión de calidad

Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de determinar en qué medida mejora la efectividad en el servicio de agua potable de la empresa COVARS aplicando un sistema de gestión de calidad. La investigación es de tipo Aplicada, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño preexperimental. La población estuvo conformada por 1300 clientes de la empresa COVARS, la muestra constituida por 297 personas, escogidas al azar. Se obtuvo como resultados que un 96,30% perciben que la efectividad del servicio, antes de la aplicación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad, es deficiente, mientras que un 94,95% de los usuarios percibe un nivel eficiente, luego de la aplicación del Sistema de gestión de Calidad; donde se puede concluir que la implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad permite incrementar significativamente la efectividad del servicio, en un 66,70%, permitiendo obtener un nivel de eficacia del 83,33%.
