Abstract
La investigación es cuantitativa descriptiva, tuvo como propósito describir la relación entre el nivel de estrés laboral y las estrategias de afrontamiento en las enfermeras que atendieron pacientes COVID-19 en el Hospital Leoncio Prado de Huamachuco-2020. El universo muestral estuvo conformado por un total de 25 enfermeras asistenciales. La recolección de datos se realizó con la aplicación de dos instrumentos: Escala de Valoración del Nivel de Estrés y El Cuestionario de Afrontamiento. La información obtenida fue procesada en tablas simples y de doble entrada, para medir la relación de variables se usó la prueba de correlación de Pearson, mostrando los siguientes resultados: el 80% de enfermeras presentaron un nivel alto de estrés laboral, así como el nivel más habitual de afrontamiento es el nivel alto en la estrategia enfocada en el problema con 68%. Existe relación altamente significativa entre el estrés laboral con los tipos de estrategias de afrontamiento: enfocada en las emociones (p=0.662), en el problema (p=0.649), y otras estrategias ( p=0.724).
The purpose of the research is quantitative, descriptive, correlational, to determine the relationship between the level of work stress and coping strategies in nurses who cared for COVID-19 patients at the Leoncio Prado Hospital in Huamachuco-2020. The sample universe was made up of a total of 25 healthcare nurses. Data collection was carried out with the application of two instruments: the Stress Level Assessment Scale and the Coping Questionnaire.
