Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en el Distrito de Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad durante los meses de abril a julio de 2019, teniendo como objetivo describir el manejo agronómico de quinua. Las variables estudiadas fueron obtenidas de las encuestas realizadas a los agricultores, se consideraron el tamaño de las unidades productivas, cantidad, calidad y manejo de la semilla, época de siembra, variedades sembradas, modalidad de preparación de terreno, labores culturales, fertilización, riegos, control de malezas, plagas y enfermedades; época de cosecha y costos de producción. La preparación de terreno y surcado se realiza en forma mecanizada, la siembra se realizó manualmente a chorro continuo, utilizando entre 12-16 kg.ha-1 de semilla, la fertilización lo realizan con la aplicación de fertilizantes químicos a la siembra y después del desmalezado. Los rendimientos varían entre 800 a 1200 kg.ha-1. El 10% de los agricultores registra costos de producción.

This research work was carried out in the District of Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad during the months of April to July 2019, with the objective of describing the quinoa agronomic management. The variables studied were obtained from the surveys carried out on the farmers, the size of the productive units, quantity, quality and management of the seed, planting time, sown varieties, land preparation modality, cultural work, fertilization, irrigation were considered. , weed control, pests and diseases; harvest time and production costs. The preparation of soil and furrowing is done in a mechanized way, the sowing was done manually by continuous jet, using between 12-16 kg.ha-1 of seed, the fertilization is done with the application of chemical fertilizers to the sowing and after weeding The yields vary between 800 to 1200 kg.ha-1. 10% of farmers register production costs
