Abstract
Hoy en día, la mejora de la calidad del producto o servicio entregado al cliente es el objetivo
principal de las organizaciones. Steelwork Ingenieros tiene la necesidad de contar con un
valor agregado que le ayude a reorganizar sus procesos, incrementar su productividad y
lograr una mayor satisfacción del cliente en comparación con otras organizaciones, es decir,
necesita ampliar su cartera de clientes y ser reconocido no solo a nivel nacional sino
internacionalmente.
La presente tesis tiene como objetivo definir cuál es la influencia de la implementación de
un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad enfocado en la normativa ISO 9001:2015 sobre la
Productividad de la empresa Metalmecánica Steelwork Ingenieros SAC. Para su desarrollo
se aplicó una investigación de tipo aplicada con enfoque cuantitativo de nivel explicativo y
de diseño preexperimental con un pre y post test. Los instrumentos usados para dicha
investigación fueron la observación, checklist, revisión documental y entrevistas.
El trabajo de investigación se realizó en 5 etapas:
En la primera etapa se procedió a evaluar la productividad inicial de la organización,
verificando la efectividad de la fabricación y plazos de entrega de los productos entregados
durante los años 2021 y 2022. En la segunda etapa se realizó un diagnóstico Situacional
inicial del cumplimiento de los requisitos de la Normativa ISO 9001:2015.
En la tercera etapa y teniendo el diagnóstico situacional de Calidad, se diseñó e implementó
documentos necesarios que ayuden al desempeño de los requisitos - de la Norma ISO
9001:2015. En la cuarta etapa se determinó la Productividad posterior a la implementación
del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad. Se realizó una proyección teniendo en cuenta que gracias
a la implementación de Gestión de Calidad las perdidas en horas hombre y materia prima
disminuirían.
En la quinta y última etapa se analizó el impacto de la implementación del SGC en la
productividad de la empresa.
Según lo planteado los resultados fueron favorables, demostrando un incremento de la
Productividad luego de la implementación del SGC, además, según los análisis estadísticos,
se observa la influencia que tiene el SGC en cada una de las dimensiones de la Productividad
en especial, en la Productividad de Fabricación.
Finalmente se concluye lo siguiente:
Se evaluó la productividad de la empresa previo y posterior a la Implementación del Sistema
de Gestión de Calidad, logrando un incremento de todas las dimensiones de Productividad
posterior a su implementación.
Se realizó un diagnóstico Situacional de Calidad previo y luego a la Implementación del
SGC, obteniendo un incremento del 13% en el diagnostico final con respecto al inicial.
Se diseñó un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad basado en la norma ISO 9001:2015, el cual fue
necesario y de gran ayuda gracias a la implementación de herramientas de gestión.
Se analizó el impacto de la implementación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad en la
productividad de la empresa, determinando que el SGC influye positivamente en la
productividad.
Con referencia a todos los análisis realizados y de acuerdo a los diagnósticos de Calidad
elaborados, se lograron detectar distintos problemas que ocasionaban un déficit en la
productividad de la organización.
Según lo observado en el Análisis Estadístico se concluyó que la implementación de un
Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) influye en las diferentes dimensiones de
Productividad, pero específicamente tiene una mayor influencia en la Productividad de
Fabricación llegando a un 62% , que es un dato superior a los demás obtenidos en las demás
dimensiones.

Steelwork needs to have added value that helps it reorganize its processes, increase its productivity and achieve greater customer satisfaction compared to other companies. The objective of this thesis is to define the influence of the implementation of a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard on the Productivity of the Metalmechanics company Steelwork Ingenieros SAC. For its development, Applied research with a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design with a pre and posttest were used for its development. The instruments used were observation, checklist, documentary review and interviews. The research work was carried out in 5 stages: In the first stage, the initial productivity of the company was determined, verifying the effectiveness of the manufacturing and delivery times of the products delivered during the years 2021 and 2022.In the second stage, an initial Situational diagnosis of compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard was carried out. In the third stage and having the Quality situational diagnosis, the necessary documents were designed and implemented to help comply with the requirements - of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard. In the fourth stage, Productivity was determined after the implementation of the Quality Management System. A projection was made taking into account that thanks to the implementation of Quality Management, the losses in man hours and raw materials would decrease. In the fifth and final stage, the impact of the implementation of a Quality Management System on the company's productivity was analyzed. As stated, the results were favorable, demonstrating an increase in Productivity after the Implementation of the QMS. Furthermore, according to the statistical analyses, the influence that the QMS has on each of the dimensions of Productivity is observed, especially in the Manufacturing Productivity. Finally, the following is concluded: The productivity of the company was evaluated before and after the Implementation of the Quality Management System, achieving an increase in all dimensions of Productivity after its implementation. A Situational Quality diagnosis was carried out before and after the Implementation of the QMS, obtaining an increase of 13% in the final diagnosis compared to the initial one. A Quality Management System was designed based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard, which was necessary and of great help thanks to the implementation of management tools.
